At first Harry the owner came off as a genuine man of his word kind of guy, so I decided to do business with him when i visited his shop in early april. I told him that I wanted to get a qoute for the multiple parts that i already bought that need to go on to my street bike. I tell him all the parts that i had and he says no problem for the labor and parts that you need to put on that will cost you about $ 350 to $ 400. I say ok great im just waiting on my exhaust to come in i will bring my Bike there in a couple weeks when my exhaust comes in. The week before i bring it in just to make sure we are on the same page i called the shop to make sure we are on the same page in terms of price for my bike. This time i talk to the kid who answers the phone I tell him the parts i need to put on to my bike and i would like a quote. He says he will call me in back in 10 mins. Two days later I receive a call back and he tells me that the im looking at $ 470 for everything that i need done. I say no problem i will be there on saturday to drop it off. I drop off my bike cbr1000 and tell them i will be going away i will be able to pick it up and 2 weeks. They make me sign a blank repair order sheet that does not have the qoute listed on the sheet of $ 470 i thought that was strange but i signed it and left. One week later i receive a call from the shop saying that my bike is finished. I asked the kid that answers the phones how much did it come out too. He says I dont know i will have to call you back. How can you not know? He calls me 2 days later and says it came out to $ 870! Im in Shock. What the heck is he talking about right? and on top of that they werent able to add one of the pieces I requested on to my bike! I ask him how did you come up with these numbers? you qouted me $ 470 and you didnt add on one of my parts. He says to me yea your right, i dont understand this myself i will have to ask Harry, i will call you bak in 10 mins. He calls me back 2 days later… and says the price is $ 770. He lists the same things i ask to put on the bike which took them 2 days to qoute me a price of $ 470. I this point i say how is the price $ 300 dollars more than you qouted me? I know hes not the one that runs the shop so i say ok, ill be there saturday to pick up my bike, we will talk them. I get to the shop on Saturday I talked to the kid at the front desk, he starts showing me the repair orders, right away im finding multiple discrepancies. FIrst one is the hourly rate is $ 89 instead of the $ 79 rate listed when i dropped it off. Second the amount of hours that he qouted to me for the work to be done was 6 hours. On the itemized print out off the computer it said 7.5 hours. When Harry returned to the shop he made the adjustments i had mentioned but still insisted that his practice of qouting someone one price then not calling them to let them know before the work is complete that the price has DOUBLED was a normal part of how he conducts business. Street Bikers and customers Beware of this Shop. If i wasnt aware of my Invoice and what they were charging me i would have just paid Double! I wound up paying $ 612 after much debate which was still over qouted by $ 142 and i still need to get a part put on my bike that they were not able to figure out… Harry and his shop I believe is UNFAIR and DECECPTIVE. Your Warned.

I took my jacket here for repairs. Multiple zippers, a scuff on the back and liner. The older gent that does the repair is the same dude who worked on this jacket years ago and that repair is still holding. The work was done on time and on price and he seems to have brought some of the dried out areas back to life. Essentially gave the old girl a few more years before I finally outgrow the waistline. I don’t write reviews much anymore but this guy is a gem of an old school leather repair shop and even though they are basically the only shop in the Boston area they are really good. Highly recommended and yes a real review

These guys are the best motorcycle shop near Boston! I only take my Harley Davidson to the Bikers Outfitter. They are less expensive and faster than going to the Dealer. Harry(owner) does all my motorcycle maintenance and upgrades. He even made me a custom leather bag that looks awesome!

I called Bikers Outfitter a couple of weeks ago. I had a flat tire on my Harley. They made arrangements to come pick up my bike from my house. The guys there were very nice. They picked up the bike for free They quoted me a great price on a rear tire. I couldn’t believe it they had the bike ready the following morning. I also had them do the 5000 mile service. They beat the dealer price by over $ 100. I am really impressed with their work. I finally found a place that has reasonable prices as well, without the typical bike shop attitude. They also had tons of cool accessories and helmets. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Jack does amazing work with leather. If you are willing to take the time to let him get it right, you won’t be disappointed! He made a custom leather and alligator seat cover with 2 matching back rests, a windshield bag, and matching saddlebags. When there was an issue with matching leather they didn’t give up, Jack went out and found a hide that looks amazing and made all pieces match perfectly. If you want a rush job, go someplace else but if you want quality work from a true artist, go to bikers outfitter. I can not wait to show off my bike!

I really wanted to like these guys but unfortunately, my experience with them was not so good. I brought in a jacket to inquire about adding pockets for armor in mid-Dec. Harry took it and said he had to ask the tailor if it’s possible. He said he would call me the beginning of next week to let me know. Next week comes by and no call back. I called the shop and he said the tailor has been out all week. Ok, no problem, but how bout a phone call to let me know there’s a delay with the quote — that’s just basic customer service. Another week goes by and I get a call from Harry with a quote. I agreed to his quote. He said it should take one or two weeks This is around the holidays so I know it may take longer. No problem since I’m not riding in December. First week of January comes by and I called to check up, their reply was«It’s not quite ready yet.» Ok, so I assumed they started to work on it. Another week goes by, no news from the shop. I call them again and a woman answers and said Harry and the tailor are both out of the office. They’ll call me back. Another week goes by and no call back, I call them and finally talked to the tailor. He said it can’t be done. It’s too complicated. Come on! I left the jacket with them for over a month and it took them all this time to tell me they can’t do anything to it. Why did they give me a quote if they can’t do the job? Why did they say«It’s not quite ready yet» if they never started the work on it? So my review is more about their customer service, which in truth, was always friendly and courteous but they just seemed very incompetent. I can’t vouch for their actual work since they never worked on my jacket.

I took my Harley softtail to Jack for custom leather work and he put together the most incredible snakeskin bike in boston, including rattlesnake head on tank bra and tail behind the custom python snakeskin solo seat. Incredible leather work and detailing. Couldn’t be happier with my white leather saddlebags with detailed python snakeskin and weather tight outside pockets for easy access to my electronics, custom windshield leather bag and kickass python tassles. Stunning work. Harry and Dave just rebuilt my engine from 96 to 103, including pressure release cams so the engine starts right up, and a full rebuild of my front end for incredible handling built to my weight and style of riding. 200% confidence going hot into the tightest turns. The roar from my V&H big radius pipes became even lower, sexier and incredibly powerful; the HP grew from 53 to 103 at the rear wheel and the tork, OMG the tork… I trust Jack, Harry and Dave for all my bike work. They are the most creative, knowledgeable mechanics and leather artists. This is my little shop of harley heaven.

This is a small motorcycle accessory shop. They have parts, apparel, do tailoring, and have mechanics. I normally have them sew on patches which they do right on the spot while you wait. They have good prices and the staff is friendly.
