Ribs were outstanding. Not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about with regard to the racism but all 4 of us looked different and were greeted well and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

I have been all over this world of ours and have never experienced or felt discriminated like I did when we walked into this place. I can’t rate the food because they didn’t even offer us a menu. But I can describe how we were treated. The ironic part is that we are all government workers and we are Equal Employment Opportunity counselors. We stand for equality for all. Are party represented a myriad of cultures. There were four of us and we all looked different. That’s the beauty of it we represent the melting pot. We sat down and some of us felt chills up our back they way we were being stared down by both the waitress/bartender and the folks there. We waited about ten minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us and we placed our drink order and did not get a welcome feeling at all. At this point we thought lets get the heck outta here but we had placed our drink order. Expecting to be offered a menu since it is a smokehouse we never were provided a menu. We received our drinks. Before you knew it everyone that had been sitting there disappeared to the back side of the building and we were the only ones sitting there. We waited and waited for the bartender to reappear so we could get the heck out of there when she finally appeared we asked for the check. Not making any conversation with us she placed the receipt on the bar and walked away again. We left the money on the counter with no tip. As we were walking out she said thank you. And not the kind of thank you for visiting but thank you for leaving. Though few words were exchanged the look of the other patrons and waitress said it all.
