I recently went back to Laundromax and ended up losing a few bucks because their card machine was broken and ate my $ 5. They told me that they aren’t allowed to handle cash and could not provide me with anything else but a credit toward detergent and such. Additionally, they wouldn’t give me a $ 5 credit and said the card itself costs $ 2 despite the previous response from the business owner which said this was refundable and makes the card itself free. Perhaps it’s a miscommunication between the owner and employees, but it’s a little annoying that I lost my money and wasn’t given the full amount in credit even though I had no need for it, as I brought my own detergent and dryer sheets.

I’m completely baffle by the horrible service I have received from this company and the audacity of them to ask me to settle for $ 75. I have yet spoken with 4 different people about my problem because no one seems to be able to face a problem and fix it from the beginning to the end. I hope you do understand that YOUR company/workers lost my clothes. YOUR company lost them. I’m only trying to get what’s owe to me and not a cent more. Why has it been so hard for this company to fix a problem? This is not the way a company should be run, at all! This is not how you look out for your costumers. People like me keeps this place running and kee the company floating so this is no way to treat someone whom you have wronged.

Cheap way to go about cleaning my clothes but there are some downsides. Because it’s cheap and in a low-income area. it’s always packed. There’s always children running around and the stench is pretty bad. The parking is plentiful and it’s located next to an amazing Chinese Restaurant and also across from a shopping plaza that holds Staples, Marshalls, Stop and Shop among others. There are other places I’d sooner go to, this place is best used at night.

Worst laundry experience ever. Couldn’t get to my dryer for all the trash bags of laundry in the way and one lady was hogging all the carts. The attendants were nonresponsive to complaints, but they were prompt(if sarcastic) about refunding money my washer ate.

I feel compelled to edit my review after having had much better experiences at my local Laundromax. Keep in my mind– you MUST arrive prior to 7am when the place starts to get busy. I find the best time is around 5am, prior to the mid day heat when the humidity can be suffocating, and before the place turns into a mad house. Also, you never have to fight for a basket, or folding table or get into a heated argument over taking someone else’s laundry out after watching it sit motionless in a dryer for 30 minutes while your clothes drip all over the floor.(The owner of said clothes inevitably always arrives as you are unloading their dry clothes into a basket and thinks you’re trying to steal their Dora the Explorer sheets.) In recent weeks, they have added an ATM machine and all the dryers have been working! YAY! And the attendants are busy cleaning the floors and shining the dryers leaving the place clean and gleaming before the 7am rush begins. I know, 5AM is early. But never fear, the Dunkin’ Donuts is a 3 minute walk up a small hill in case you need some caffeine while your clothes wash.
