Raina’s Hair Color Studio

I love Raina’s salon and the whole staff! The owner genuinely cares about her staff and clients and is always helping in the community! I see J’aime for all my hair needs. She is amazing at what she does! The salon has a great laid back atmosphere. If you are looking for a comfortable environment with exceptional service see J’aime!

I went to this salon twice. I saw Kristy both times and it was disappointing to say the least. The first time I wasn’t super impressed with my color. She also acknowledged not liking the shade of blonde it came out to but said that the next time it would come out amazing etc etc. She also had a VERY junior stylist blow me out who had no clue how to blow dry my texture hair — I had to touch it up myself at home. I totally get that blonde can be a process so I gave it another shot 6 weeks later only to be greeted with an attitude about «me not booking enough time for what I needed to have done». Seriously? It apparently was MY fault that they only booked me for a half hour after stating on the phone I needed a full foil and my base done?! It became very awkward very quickly as she was basically arguing with me about it. She said she would do the sides and the front and that it would all «blend nicely». Long story short — it wasn’t worth what she charges. I basically had a «balayage gone bad» type of look on my head after 2 visits and spending between $ 400-​$ 500. The salon itself is clean and the owner seems friendly but Kristy’s skills don’t match up to what she charges sorry to say. :(

Very nice hair salon, friendly staff and very talented. I have never been disappointed with a cut or updo here. I’ve only worked with Stacy but I have seen the work of the others and they are all fabulous. Jen also does makeup if you’d like and it comes out so great! Love this place. It’s my go to for any event I’m attending and need a cute hairstyle and makeup.

I went to Kristy for the first time last week and she was FANTASTIC. I have a short hair cut (growing out a pixie) and it can be very tough to cut. She cut it exactly how I asked and even showed me how to style it differently as it grows. I will be back to see her again soon!

Very nice salon great atmosphere really friendly staff great service and a wonderful hairstylist my hair came out great she did a wonderful haircut and style I am definitely going back to this place and to top it all off I got it all at a great price

This place is right around the corner from my house so I had to check it out. I’ve seen a few differnt stylists over the last few years and I’ve been happy with all of them. I’ve had my hair colored a few times and always been happy and Danielle did a great blond/​red look for me last year that was great. When I had my most recent cut from Christy I totally saw why people would pay for a blow-​out at a salon for a night out. I have short hair that is easy to style but my hair looked amazing after my last cut/​style, which says a lot because I usually prefer how I style my hair at home. I love the Aveda products (they smell amazing) and the atmosphere is clean and casual.

I have been living in Chelsea now for 6 years and still couldn’t break ties with my hairdresser in NH. I decided it was time for a change (and save some mileage and gas on the car) and find a new hair Salon. I’m kicking myself now for not making a change sooner!!!
The salon itself is very clean and welcoming. Everyone on staff was very courteous. I was a bit nervous about having someone new cut and color my hair after 15 years with the same hairdresser. Kristy went above and beyond to ease my mind! My cut and color came out fabulous. Had my brows done by Jen who also did a fantastic job. Will definitely be using this salon from here on out!

I moved to Revere a few months back and was looking for hair salon. I would recommend Raina’s Hair Studio! They are very professional and courteous!
