I had a really wonderful dinner tonight! The warm bread and salad was to die for!!! I would love to have some of the house dressing for my home! It was so good, The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially after my partner left the lights on in the car and battery died. While we were waiting for AAA, I nice gentleman gave us a number to the local shop who can in 15mins and gave us a jump!!! We will must come back to try more dishes off the menu!!!

Place clean, service fine, food decently good. Sat in the bar area. I’d go back. Enjoyed it better Tham Turner’s in Melrose! ! Large portions and reasonably priced.

I love the The Marina Restaurant at the Wharf. The food is really good and so is the entertainment. In the summer time the outside bar is great with the sunset view. I am happy that the new owners are doing a great job.

I got the steak tips and substituted the fries for the risotto. The meal was good and the portions were generous. The salad that came before the meal had a great balsamic dressing, and the oil for the bread was good. The bread was too covered in oil for my liking. The wait staff was attentive and kind. The atmosphere needs some attention. Overall the restaurant has great potential. However I have a few recommendations: 1. Add white tablecloths to each table 2. Dim the lighting for evening dining 3. Add a candle to each table 4. CHANGETHEMUSICSELECTION(I don’t want to choke on my steak because I’m jamming out to One Direction or Demi Lovatto)

Wow… It’s like fine dining in «Fargo»… It could be good with a few tweaks but as is. It failed miserably… It may be fall, but who wants to eat to the sound of Smashing Pumpkins??? The music was loud and obnoxious. The food was ok… What it lacked in quality and taste it made up for in portion size… they were big. I will say that… The chowder was sub par… It was like having cornstarch and milk with a thyme plant through in. The décor had a lot of good bones… But something got lost… Imitation flowers, no table cloths… «laminated menus… Ack This place needs to define who they are and what they serve…

One of our favorite local spots! We actually just used the wharf for our rehearsal dinner earlier this month! Love sitting on the patio and enjoying a delicious pitcher of sangria! I highly recommend the fish dishes, all extremely fresh! Great service & affordable prices.

Wonderful lobster and exceptional clam chowder, even out of season! Clam chowder is my favorite«soup» and this had to be one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife and I just drove in from Michigan and headed to the coast. Looked on Unilocal for lobster and found the«The Marina» at the Warf. What a great find! We wanted a good lobster meal at a reasonable price and we found it. The staff was every bit as pleasant as the food which made for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to anyone without exception.

I have to give it to the owners of the Marina Restaurant. I was a bit put off at first. When you enter, it kind of looks like any old bar. Once you enter the restaurant itself, it isn’t very impressive… just a bunch of tables and a halfway decent view of a small inlet. The hostess wore what may have been bedazzled silver flip-flops. There was a guy, who could very well have been an indie performer, roaming the restaurant playing an acoustic guitar and singing table side. I sat down thinking that I may have made an error in judgement by choosing to give this place a chance. Boy, was I wrong! Let’s talk about the food. My pizza was, meh, okay. Nothing to write home about, but not horrible by any stretch. I mean, it was pepperoni pizza. Not very imaginative on my part. The arancini was the best I’ve had in the Boston area. The bread was amazing. The scallops were overcooked slightly, but were tasty. The shrimp risotto only had one shrimp on it, but was cooked perfectly… not too gummy, soupy or dry. The serving sizes are crazy big! Order two entrees for a table of four and you’ll walk away full. We had leftovers the next day and it was still very tasty. The pizza actually was better the next day. The service was fantastic! Our server was new, only having been there for about two weeks. I hate that I cannot remember her name, but she was great! Every single person we dealt with in the restaurant was very, very nice. It just goes to show you… the atmosphere can be ‘okay’, the food can be ‘good’, but if the service is ‘great’, you remember that and it keeps you coming back. We will definitely make our way from the city out to Revere again!

Loveeee The Wharf! Recently started coming here this summer and have not been disappointed. They have a nice little outdoor seating area on the water, all of the tables have umbrellas which is very nice after a long day at the beach. Service has always been prompt, and I have never had to wait very long for food or drinks. The vibe is very low key & relaxing. Their lunch specials are a deal. You definitely get a very good portion of food for around $ 10. I look forward to coming for dinner to check out that menu as well. I have never been to one — but it seems like they are also open to doing parties, functions, etc. I also believe they have live music some evenings.

The clam chowder was great, however, the main entrees were a different story. I ordered the fried clam plate for $ 21.95 for which I received about 8 clams, 5 onion rings and the rest was French fries. Since the clams make up the price of the meal, it works out to about $ 2.75 per clam! Not worth it. My wife had the lobster fra diavolo which was listed as «market price». We asked what«market price» was and was told $ 24.95. We decided to go for it. When it arrived there was a bowl of linguine with sauce and she had to search for any lobster meat. We called for the manager and she said that the lobster was weighed for each meal. When asked, she said there were 6 ounces of lobster in each meal. That works out to $ 2.16 an OUNCE or $ 66.50 per pound! I know a restaurant has overhead and is there to make a profit but at these prices for what you get is outrageous. We had been here many times before and have always enjoyed the experience. The manager said they have only been here for two years, however, in some resent replays to other people’s comments, they claim to have been here since 1977. I don’t know what to believe. We both left hungry and don’t plan to be back. In the restaurant’s defense, they comped the meals.

Went to an event birthday party and the service/menu was quite a special experience. Met many nice people there. We had some picky questions about the menu and the chef did a top notch job at putting it all together to perfection.

Stopped by for lunch, excellent service, friendly staff & owners. Cocktails were excellent, we had eggplant rollatini which came with sautéed baby spinach that looked like it was just a garnish but actually tasted fabulous. I had fried clams, they were delicious & came with fries, onion rings & cole slaw. All tasty. Hubby had the double down chicken, he liked it, it looked really good too. We sat at the bar but will probably check out the deck next time. The bill was lower than we expected, bonus! Edit: I forgot to mention the most ridiculously great loaf of HOT bread(with dipping oil) that came out before we even ordered– omg that was the BEST!

Our second trip here recently. First time we came was a Saturday night and there was a function going on. The food was good but it was too loud and not what we wanted. Tonight we had a nice quiet dinner on the back deck on a Tuesday night. We started off with muscles for an app which were good. We shared a house salad that was quite good. My sirloin steak was really good. Tasty and cooked exactly as I asked. It’s hard to get a good sirloin and these guys got it right. My girlfriend has the shrimp scampi which she liked. The menus is pretty big and I know there were a few more things that I want to go back for. The owners came by twice to see how we were doing and the staff was very attentive. Defiantly will be going back just not when a function is going on.

I just had my daughters 1st birthday party at the Marina at the Wharf and it could not have gotten any better! The staff was awesome, the brunch was delicious, the view was amazing!!! The owners worked with my wife and I every step of the way and our vision came to reality when we arrived for the party! Everything was exactly as we discussed and they made sure we had everything we needed through out our party(even though there were 3 other party’s going on around us!). All our guests raved about the brunch; they had everything from scrambled eggs to baked haddock and everything in between and it just kept coming!!! Believe me they will see my wife and I from now on as regular brunch customers! They even had entertainment! The crew at the Marina at the wharf promised us that they would make my daughters 1st Birthday party memorable and they did that and so much more! You will see us again!!!

For the price, the Marina at the Wharf is a definite miss. $ 34.95 for an adult buffet when the food prep is so hit-or-miss is too much. It’s Easter today and as I write this, people are flowing all around me. What this tells me, now that I’ve eaten is that this part of Revere, MA is just desperate for restaurants and as a consequence, not very picky. Let me explain. The Eggs Benedict were served barely Luke-warm and the muffins weren’t even toasted. The lamb shoulder roast was overcooked, and the roast beef was less rare than it should be. OTHERCOMMENTS: serving deserts on plastic plates is tacky — even in Revere. For the money? GO to the Hawthorne Inn in Salem, MA. It’s better, quieter, and a much better value for the money.

I have driven by this place thousands of times and never stopped. My friends and I were looking for something to eat so one of them said lets try the Marina. So we went it was pretty empty, it was a rainy Wednesday night so its ok. I was taken aback by the décor not expecting it to look so nice. The waitress was super nice. She offered us drinks and brought out some nice warm bread with oov and parmesan cheese. We started off with appetizers. We ordered fried calamari, fried mozzarella and a bowl of clam chowder. They were great. They tasted fresh, not frozen. The waitress also brought us out a complementary salad for the table… their house dressing was really good. For dinner I ordered Shrimp Scampi(I always order something popular off the menu the first time because I figure if you can’t make the classics then you shouldn’t be in business.) it was sooo good. It had very large shrimps and the sauce was very light a flavorful. My friends got the waitress confused because they kept saying they were going to share a little of eachothers plates and she understood that they were going to share from one plate so they got the Fried Seafood plate with french fries and onion rings. Idk if it was because they were going to share but she brought out a huge plate. They were stuffed… an excellent choice. Again everything was fresh the fish was great and the fried clams too! We will be going back again!

We’ve been here twice now – once for the manfriend’s mother’s day brunch, and another time for a casual dinne. The brunch buffet was terrifying. They used the bar space and turned it into a buffet area with an omelette station, pastries and salads smacked in the middle, desserts on the far end right next to an assortment of hot foods. The food was just ok. The calamari had too much breading and was just plain soggy in a lot of parts. The seafood medley turned out to be cuts of different types of fish, one of which was a weird darker one that the manfriend had to spit out because it smelled funny. The pasta was cooked well but the sauces were watery. The desserts tasted premade – think typical chinese buffet cheesecake: a little too chewy and not very cheesey. There was a nice pasta salad that I found myself coming back to. Service here is very sweet and prompt. My glass was continuously refilled even during lunch time. The second time we came here, again it was really sweet service but the food was just not good. My salmon was so salty I just snacked on the acceptable arancini. Don’t sit outside. There are a lot of bugs and the furniture is uncomfortably sticky. We’ll probably be back since the manfriend’s parents know the owner and generally likes the service here… NOT the food.

I have to admit, I have not stopped in since the change over in the past few months. Reports of the past just kept us away. Over the past few weeks we have been seeing some great postings and comments on The Marina. After working on the boat, we decided to stop in for lunch. We were greeted at the bar by Jennifer who was in charge from the moment we walked in. Spot on with water up and a very pleasant greeting. Jen asked it we were dining and no sooner did the words yes come out of me, table sets were put in place. Menus were placed and explained. This is what we ordered. Double Down Chicken Whalers Fish Sandwich Sliced Sirloin Open Face. The Whaler was AWESOME, Fresh, Tasty and cooked perfect. The Double Down was a unexpected pleasure. Moist and full of flavor The Sliced Sirloin Open, although it was full of flavor. Our company thought a bit of gravy or jeu would complement the plate. Just a bit dry… While sitting and enjoying what was placed for our afternoon feast, My Wife ganders at a plate of Steamers another patron ordered. Good serving with the right sides… She will be in for them tomorrow So, all in all. Jen, I tip my hat to you. My Wife and I have been bartenders for too many years to mention. You were a ball of fire and never stopped. BRAVO… The food, I tip my hat to you. Such a great makeover for some very wonderful people. Bravo… If you drive past The Marina Restaurant & Bar At The Wharf and do not stop. Your Loss…
