This place gets better and better. For under $ 15 sushi, shrimp, clams and string beans etc the best choice in Revere

I would give a five stars because of the food and the service. But only four because the space is small so gets crowded and hard to go forth and back from the buffet to your place. Also, takes some time to refill the buffet.

Came here for their lunch buffet and must say I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. This is in a positive way. The food was delicious. We all have some expectations when going to a Chinese buffet about the quality and selection of food. This place far exceeded my expectations for buffets in this price range. The selection is definitely not huge and vast. They also do not leave out huge amounts of food at the buffet table. They have sushi which looks fresh and some dim sum and hot food selection. All of them were cooked just right and looked appetizing. The hot food gets constantly refilled, while the sushi takes a little longer. Hot tea is complimentary which is good for those that would rather have something warm rather than ice water. Some of the other Chinese buffets in area do charge for tea. The place is also clean as well. Plenty of parking as this is located at the Northgate Shopping Center. I do recommend that if you are going for the buffet, try to get their within the first 30 minutes of when they start the meal shift. That way all the sushi is fresh and available. Everyone in my party remarked how good the buffet is and we were all pleasantly surprised. Will look forward to trying them again soon.

The food was just as you expect. Would have gave 3 stars but gave four because they had clean bathrooms!

You can’t beat the price! The food is mediocre but the sushi is actually really good! The crab ragoons are also delicious. Buffets are not my personal favorite but they have a good business on their hands!

OmG Damn YOU semi-delicious buffet!!! I feel like my body is going to explode!!! Everything I ate was pretty much-sorta good! So many different and delicious pieces of sushi. The service here is nice and they clear your plates quickly. They discourage wasting food which I very much appreciate in this type of establishment. The atmosphere is a little too low key, a little Billy Joel on the stereo might have been nice. A karaōke korner? Cmon.

Best chinese buffet ive been to since i moved to the area. Went twice before writing a review. The first time we went it was busy, but we were sat right away anyways. Second time, it was super slow and still, everything was hot, fresh, and LABELED(including the sushi which is huge for me since im allergic to some fish). service is quick, everything is clean!!! Even the tea is better.

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Sometimes they don’t take the food and plates you’re finished using. The restaurant could also use a makeover. The tables and floors are run down and aren’t the cleanest. The Chinese staff act like elitists and are inhospitable and unfriendly to patrons. If you’re looking to fill up on Chinese food, it’s better at Chinatown and don’t bother with this worthless place.

For $ 15 dollars a person it is 5 stars. The quality of the meat and vegetables was very good. Cooked just right. Good sushi. The food was not too salty. The drinks were large. $ 20 per person including drink, tax, and a good tip. I live in southie and I will make this a regular thing. Mom will love it! Go to this place, def worth it!

Hey, not bad. We went here for dinner, and for an all you can eat dinner, 13 bucks is pretty cheap. We got so excited when we saw the buffet table. Lots of variety and they are all pretty tasty. Nothing exceptional but nothing was bad either. My favorite is the baked mussels and the teriyaki salmon. My husband got really crazy about the sesame balls with red beans inside. That was really really good. Bonus, there is ice cream, around 6 flavors of them, pastries and a bunch of fruits for dessert.

To make the restaurant more busy and all of customers keep comeback, waitresses here have to understand about their job are: customer # 1 and buffe its mean customers can eat whatever they want, how much they want, you can not look at them and talk your language behind them, you should be shame about that. You open the business so you need customers, they came to support you so you get paid, you have to understand that to show your good attitude how to respect customers. I’m really happy with the food here but so disappoint with customers service. The owner need to know about that and should have re-training all of his employees(waitresses) I will give them one more try cause of the food but if no change, I never forever come back.

Typical buffet with Asian grub. Lunch is livelier than dinner. There’s about 7 – 10 types of sushi to choose from and the standard fried rice and noodle dishes in front. Giving the place 3 stars for the low price.

I just honestly love this place. I come here once every two weeks at least for the past 2 years and I’ve never been disappointed. The food always taste fresh. Especially the sushi which is my favorite! They have a great selection of food options. The staff are wonderful and always pleasant and the price is reasonable for the buffet. What more could you ask for?

Yutaka Buffet is pretty typical of the Asian style buffets. Staff is fast to set you up at your table and off you go. Plenty of choices at the buffet table. They offer sashimi, nigiri and plenty of tasty maki rolls. All seem fresh although the nigiri pieces are a tad small. The Chinese section has all the goodies from hot and sour and wonton soups, boneless roast pork, scallion pancakes, dumplings, crab rangoon, crawfish, orange chicken, salt and pepper shrimp and calamari, beef and peppers, teriyaki salmon, noodles, rice. Then there’s the dessert section. Various cut up fruits and cookies and ice cream! It’s not fancy but if you want to eat sushi and Chinese food for under $ 15.00 per person then this will do in a pinch. Parking is free in the Northgate lot.

I don’t know what I was expecting when I came here today. I read a lot of reviews early on and I wasn’t expecting anything great but nothing bad either. I guess just a run of the mill buffet experience. When I first got there, I noticed that it had a good crowd at lunch time which meant that it was a good place if there were a lot of patrons there. I was with my nieces and elected to just try the buffet from the get go. The waiter we had was a nice fellow, and was courteous throughout the experience. He explained about the pricing which was 8.99 $ a person which was quite the surprise. I think that that was a great bargain for a buffet. The buffet itself was mixed. I found the sushi to be super bland and unappealing. The sushi offerings made up a third of the selection so I was quite disappointed with it. The other part of the buffet was actually not all that bad. I loved the clams, the orange chicken and what not. I would say I enjoyed the food there as a whole. I would give the food probably a 7 out of 10. mostly for the value. The reason why I am giving this place 2 stars is not because I was disappointed with the service. it was actually great. Not because of the food either because it was great for the price. I give it 2 stars because I hate it. HATEIT when you’re at a buffet and even before you ask for the check they bring it to you… pretty much forcing you to leave. I am with two children under 13 and I myself did not eat a lot yet. but they just had to bring me the check to force us to stop eating. How embarrassing is that? When I think about it. yes the price was 8.99 $ per person for the buffet. but we didn’t eat anything near that price-point before being ushered out with their check maneuver. If it wasn’t for that experience, I would’ve given this place five stars simply because of the price point and taste ratio. I just felt unwanted after that.

First time here on a Saturday night. We had 14 people in our team, and they were able to reserve a big space for us after I called 2 hours in advance. On the phone, they said they would not take reservation since they might get too crowded, but they would have that in mind. Limited but good selection on both Chinese food and Sushi. Fried food was not too oily, and sushi was not packed with too much rice. Clam, crawfish were fresh, and deliciously flavored. They also had good ice cream(I only took chocolate, and cookie ice cream, though), and my mom loved the strawberry and fruity ice cream. There was no water refilling until we completely finished our glasses and had to ask one of the servers. They were not busy at that time, and 5 servers were walking around only picking up used plates(very frequent, which is good). The first ten minutes we were there, there was a server keep asking«who’s gonna pay?», «Are you paying together or separate?» for like 5 times before we all even sat down. I know we had a big group, and you do need to keep track, but come on, that was rude, and irritating. Other than that, the staff were helpful, and smiley. 5 stars for good food, good price($ 13.99 for dinner), accommodating, and good staff.

Ok, I’m giving 5 stars based on the bang for the buck. I’ve been 3 times in the last 6 weeks, with the last time being this past Christmas. Personally, I love the food here. They have pretty much everything covered, beef, chicken, pork, and seafood dishes. They have most of the apps covered, crab Rangoon is excellent and my favorite are the steam pork dumplings. The sushi selection is surprising considering the price point, and while I’m not a sushi authority, my girl and I loved it all 3 times(shrimp tempura roll my favorite). Objectively speaking, I could see how some people may not agree with my 5 stars, for instance the fried squid is a little greasy and salty, and there are a few other greasy things that if you don’t grab as soon as it’s put out, it may not be the best thing you’ve tried. But with that being said, it’s sort of to be expected, fried foods are meant to be eaten quickly, so I personally stay away from those things if they don’t appear to be «just brought out». The steam foods are definitely 5 stars; chicken and broccoli, general Tso(or Gau, whatever they call it here), etc, are all delicious. We drive all the way from Foxboro, past 20 or so buffet spots for this place, the price is always right, $ 9 for lunch or $ 13 for dinner, go there expecting good food for the price, and you’ll be pleased. Also, the service has been fine every time, they grab the finished plates quickly and refilled my water each time. And if they overlook your empty glass, don’t be shy to wave your hand at the servers, they will respond quickly and politely. I highly recommend this place and will be back for New Years!

I like the food i choose to eat every time I visit. I always ask for hot tea and it makes the price even more affordable as I am a hot tea lover. Sushi bar is delicious but goes empty really fast, so, do not be shy or angry as you might need to go around 2 to 3 times to get a full dish of what you like. Service: they have their own ways and culture, so, fast servers with little or non smile is typical, but I am sure if you become a regular visitor and leave a NICE tip every time, they will remember your face and you will get a few smiles after your 7th visit. Parking: excellent.

overall score: 3.5 stars this is a buffet in the northgate mall. it was quite busy. parking and access: 5 stars mall lot buffet food temperature: 3.75 stars general gau: 3.75 stars hot and sour soup: 2.5 stars kung pau: 2.5 stars sushi: we don’t eat it, but it was pretty to behold, and is included. rangoons: 3.5 stars number of selections: 3 stars value: 4 stars ten bucks, and they maintain the lunch price even on sunday afternoons. so it is «a-ok», and we would go back, i don’t think it merits a four which is a pretty high score, but we drove out based on Unilocal and no regrets.

This place is great! We came into Yataka for a late lunch this weekend and have to say that we loved the place! The food selection here was incredible, and it was great to have such a great selection of sushi to choose from. The sushi was made fresh, and there was never a moment where the buffet was empty. The selection of hot food was great as well. My favorites were the crayfish and dumplings. This atmosphere here was great, the staff was always taking care of us, and the water/drinks never stopped coming. This is definitely a place we will come to again in the future!
