Happy Trails– for second time in a year this place is closed. It is now called Artful Events and I assume it does specialty catering. It is not open to the general public as an eatery.

This place is so cool. I passed by it a few times over the past few months, and it never seemed to be open so I gave up for awhile. Then one day I noticed the open sign so I jumped at the chance to try out a new place. It’s hard to describe what the décor is like, but it’s like walking into an ice cave crossed with an artsy lounge. Yeah. That’s the best I can come up with. It’s an amazing result though! The bar options are very cool-​they have at least 20 different flavors of vodka, even pickle flavored! I ordered that in a martini glass and it was delicious. They have other flavors like pineapple and mint, but I really just wanted to try the pickle flavored vodka. Their zucchini fries are amazing, and so is the cheese plate. They even have live music some nights. It’s an amazing addition to the Rhinebeck area and I hope they stick around for awhile!

Great drinks, fresh ingredients, cool vibe, freindly staff. Would go back for drinks. Our disappoint was we ordered the happy hour appetizers and felt the portions were small for the price. We would recommend you order the regular portion size, which seemed a better value for the price. Food was tasty.
We would definitely be back for the drinks!
