Michael Gregorio Furnituremaker

We have been collecting studio furniture for many years and one of our pieces, a dining room table with exquisite, delicate marquetry, had been badly damaged by the sun so that the marquetry was faded out. We brought the piece to Michael Gregorio, and with painstaking craftsmanship, he was able to restore the marquetry to its original beauty. We were so happy. And we were also so happy to see in his shop a piece of his own furniture craftsmanship, an elegant cheery rocking chair that we acquired and now sits in our Victorian farmhouse, in a place of honor overlooking the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. The rocking chair is not only beautifully designed, and wrought with a true woodworker’s touch, it is oh so comfortable. A pleasure to own. Michael has also restored a tiger maple table top of ours, to bring back its original luster and is now working on several other tables, including an antique, which needed his TLC.
Michael is an extraordinary and versatile craftsman. From our experience he can take on any furniture project, whether restoration, repair or design and build.
He is also a pure pleasure to work with. No doubt he is woohoo! And as good as it gets!
