Morton Memorial Library

Great library! Nice section for kids. Computers w Internet, fax, printer, etc. everything you need in a historic building with lots of character. Also make your own coffee while you browse books. A real neighborhood library.

Small one level library means not many books in this library. But, through the powers of the Internet, they can get any book you’d like from any library that has one copy available. This also means that, since it isn’t frequented often, it’s a good place to hunker down in a seat and sit and study with little to no interuptions at all. There is at least one employee on duty at the desk at most times. In my opinion, even though this library is called the «Morton Memorial Library», it should really be more appropriately be called the «Morton Memorial Room»; it’s that small. I definitely feel my hometown libary and nearby libraries (zipcodes 12 571 and 12 572 and 12 401[Town of Ulster]) do a better job at providing adequate library services.
