Found this place here on Unilocal while looking for a supplement store. I was thinking GNC, but am really happy with this local alternative. I asked for turmeric and a very friendly gal came right out and showed me to Curcumin — turmeric root extract. Had I gone to GNC or the likes it would have taken at least 1 – 3 minute for me to explain that I was indeed looking for something called turmeric(you know, what’s in curry) and that it’s an anti-inflammatory so maybe it would be there and wait while they use the computer to look it up — yes, I know from past experiences. Here she knew exactly what I was talking about and showed me a couple of other blended products that included turmeric along with other anti-inflammatories. AND since I saw the reviews and the banner out front, I decided to try some food. I have to say the chicken salad on squaw bread is pretty spot on. Support local business and stop by!

This place is great. Please check it out for sandwich, soups and salads to go. They have supplements, essential oils and teas. I found it on a whim and am glad. The staff is very amiable and helpful:) I’ll be back. I would have taken a picture but my hunger got the best of me– I ordered a potato soup yummm!!! And half a turkey sandwich! It was tooooo good. Also great conversation with Barbara about alternative medicine-out passion:)

I was so happy to see tht Complete Health Store reopened at 1756 N. RIVERSIDEAVE. I made a purchase there the other day and was helped by the same great staff! The new owner was wise enough to keep them all on. Rosie answered all my questions and as usual I left with confidence in my purchase. FYI to all my buds; the new phone numbeer is 909−879−1059. No lunch bar yet but plans for food are in the works yea! Thank you Complete Health for staying in Rialto.

Chicken salad as a salad or a sandwich is great bet. Fresh turkey sandwich is a good second choice. They have a half sandwich and cup of soup special that is just about right even for a moderately hungry guest.

Excellent, that’s the way to describe the food. I got vegetable soup and a chicken salad sandwich and they were both so good. Fresh, and tasty. Vegetable soup is usually too soggy for me but the vegetables were cooked just right. The sandwich had fresh bread, made there and the bean sprouts added a good crunch and the chicken had walnuts and raisens that made the sandwich more flavorful. I was really impressed with the food. A hole in the wall place with great food that seemingly only the locals know about. My cousin took me here and I’m glad she did.

Made my first visit to the Complete Health Store & Eatin’ Place today after hearing good word of mouth on their sandwiches from co-workers.I ordered the full sized chicken salad sandwich with added avocado. The sandwich was $ 6 plus $ 1.25 for the avocado. Let me just say, it was delicious. As good as described in other reviews. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area. It was a pretty decent place. The only thing that knocked it down a star was the price of their drinks. The only drinks I saw were in bottles and cans, and we were charged $ 1.80 for a can of Coca Cola and $ 2.99 for a Snapple. Ridiculous! Seems a bit crazy, for beverages that you could get from overpriced vending machines at other places for like $ 1.00. It makes you wonder whether they are just getting that ripped off by their distributor, or if they are just trying to make extra profit off their customers. May be better to take the order to go, and provide your own beverage, for the best deal. So the sandwich = worth it. But prepare to shell out $$ to quench your thirst.

I’ve been here for lunch a few times and fell in love with their sandwiches. So, I had to come here for lunch today because I was craving a sandwich! I agree with the first reviewer that Rialto does not have many great eating places, but this place is good! It is a Health Food Store that sells vitamins and all sorts of other healthy stuff. You have to go to the back of the store to order your food and then pay at the vitamin part of the store where the cashier is. The place is definitely not fancy at all. I would not have tried this place out without the suggestion of a friend. I’ve only had two sandwiches here: the egg salad sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich. The egg salad sandwich is just a plain egg salad sandwich, but it tastes better here than anywhere I’ve had it! The chicken salad on the other hand… it’s filled with chicken, mayo, cranberries, and almonds. Yum! Today I ordered 3 sandwiches for me alone! Lol. Just kidding… brought some home to share the love with the family.

In case there was any doubt in anyone’s mind, let me just say up front that I am Gluttony personified. If it hasn’t been fried, grilled, or BBQ’d, I will probably have no interest in it. So please don’t think that I discovered this place on my own, since under normal circumstances, I’d be as welcome as Marilyn Manson at the Crystal Cathedral if the owner’s knew my dining habits. Also, let me say that the city of Rialto is not blessed with a number of good dining places that are safe and welcoming. That’s just the reality of things. However, one of my work colleagues had heard of this place and how good their sandwiches were, so a number of co-workers got some food to go and they were really pleased with everything was ordered. I decided to go here to day, just to try things out, and I was pretty pleased. I ordered a triple meat sandwich, with roast beef, turkey, and ham. It had lettuce, tomato, and the requisite alfalfa sprouts, all on a really great(wheat perhaps?) bread. I also decided to try one of their smoothies. My sandwich was $ 5.50 and the smoothie was $ 3.75. I was pretty happy with the sandwich, but felt that the quantity and quality of the smoothie was certainly not worth the price I paid. The place is quaint, and by the looks of it, it is a converted old house. Half of the space is occupied by the health food part of the business, and the other half consists of a small dining area and a counter space with bar stools. Definitely not a fancy place, but it was clean and the employees were friendly.
