El Pollo Loco

The service consists of a bunch of teenagers with horrible attitudes and the food is a ripoff for the price… At least at this one. I ordered a buritto which consisted of avocado inside and I LITERALLY got 2 cubes of avocado in the whole burrito. This el pollo loco sucks. So do the employees.

I come here since its right down the street but idk what was up with their drive thru today. I ordered at 2:22 and got my food by 2:38p 15min wait for just a bowl. Their MOD looked like she was overwhelmed or something. She kept yelling at the girl taking orders in spanish, i guess something had happened or someone just didnt show up to work? Idk seemed understaffed, also they charged me for my order and still ask me what did you get? i come here once in a blue moon but as someone mentioned in another review its a hit or miss with this place.

I’ve been coming to this location for years because it’s the closet one to me. I have always had an issue with the employees and the orders being incorrect. With that a side I love the chicken at El Pollo Loco. Again, this location can be a hit and miss.
The chicken, when done right is juicy, full of flavor and moist. I also like the rice. One or two of the burritos I’ve tried have been good. I know I’ve tried other items, just can’t remember.
Today I came for lunch to try one of the new bowls. It was ok. I guess I would rather eat my meal separated instead of layered. I didn’t care for the shell so I took the wall down and gave it to my poochies. They enjoyed it. The best part was the bottom of the meal. I left filling and folded it like a taco and it tasted bomb. That was my fave part. Anyways don’t know if I’ll get this again.
I will surly be back in the future for chicken. I don’t come here often.
My sister and I were bumming it, so we didn’t feel like getting down and of course drive thru was closed. Go figure…

I ordered the avocado burrito with shrimp instead of chicken at this place, as soon as we walked in the place was packed and as you can see in one of my pictures I posted they even give you a buzzer when your order is ready. I opened up my avocado shrimp burrito and I took my first bite into the crispy shrimp it tasted very good. The mix inside the burrito of the spices and avocado made it a very tasty dish. I would definitely order this again, except when I’m on a diet. Lol ! The manager actually took my order and was very hospitable and despite the fact that the place was packed it was still very clean and organized. I would definitely come back here again when in the area

The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. This is a very busy location during lunch hours but you still get your food within a reasonable amount of time. Also, the restaurant looks clean and organized. I ordered an ultimate double tostada salad and it was just as good as any other pollo loco, however I substituted the chicken they normally put on the tostadas with fresh chicken off the grill, when I made this request the staff was extremely accommodating.

I gave it one star only because I love El Pollo Loco and the customer service there is normally not bad. I went to this El Pollo Loco twice after work (after 10pm), and both times they were out of chicken pieces. I did not order anything else and left disappointed.

This is the worst el pollo loco. Customer service is horrible and not one time have they ever actually got the order right, not one time! Unfortunately there is not much to choose from in that area as far as take out so we go there a couple times a month and EVERY single time something is missing or forgotten or wrong. The food is OK but the service is terrible.

This pollo loco was not good at all. the chicken had no flavor. No sea​son​ing​.it looked like old chicken. I used a coupon that offered a choice of enchiladas, burrito or salad. I picked the burrito but guess what the worker told me that they didn’t have any burritos. which sounds pretty ridiculous. how do they not have burritos. so she gave me a choice of enchiladas or salad. That’s the last time I go to this pollo loco.

Place is very, very dirty. I asked for grilled tortillas and did not grilled them. Isn’t Mexican food supposed to be al carbon and not Microwaved?

The chicken was alright, I was devastated when I was told that they discontinued selling flan! I guess they did a revamp of their old dessert menu and decided to leave out my favorite item, what a slap in the face. I hope they realize their mistake and bring it back soon, until then I am boycotting El Pollo Loco.

So I went here for lunch today and I ordered the grilled chicken salad which is one of my favorites off their menu and when I ordered through the drive thru the girl who was helping me when I got to drive-​through window didn’t even say hello nothing she gave me my total got my money gave me my change and gave me my bag didn’t say goodbye didn’t say have a nice day nothing like that!!!
So I get back to my office to try to enjoy my food and I open my salad and there’s like three pieces of chicken in there (nothing new) and I ordered on the side some guacamole and chips now I make homemade guacamole and this looks nothing like guacamole it is super dark it looks like it’s been left in the refrigerator for a week and you don’t taste any of the vegetables in it at all meaning tomato onion nothing it is horrible!!! Wait to start a Friday I think that will be the last time I go there!!!
