***My bad wrong location.*** 3.5 stars. This place is pricy, but the food is good. It gets super packed on the weekends. Very loud Banda music. Don’t try yelling, you still won’t be heard. Service for the most part is ok. I always get the bacon wrapped shrimp with or with out the chile if I go for dinner. If I go for lunch I get the burrito or the cheese enchiladas, both very good. The green and crab salsas along with the charales are bomb. The mixed drinks are also decent and good. It’s a cool, crowded spot if your in the mood to eat, drink and listen to loud Banda on the weekends.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning and looked kind of empty, first impression was of entering a night club with stage on the right side but is a really large place and makes me wonder if it ever gets full. I ordered a large shrimp cocktail and it was good it was just heavy handed with the onions, they serve you chips with a few fried smelt fish on top that are just awesome perfectly fried and crispy you could eat a full basket of this!

Took the family for a Lent Dinner, first time visit. The restaurant was much larger than I originally thought it to be, very spacious. The decorations has a nightclub feel to it, kind of like«El Patio de Rialto»…Don’t ask how I know ‘_’ There are musicians walking around and the jukebox playing if you feel like listening to your favorite Corrido or Balad. Expect it to be loud, couldn’t really talk to the family without shouting. They have TV ’ S showing futbol and the latest news from Latino America. We only had to wait 15 min to be seated, which was nice. Our waitress was very happy to see us and knew the menu without hesitation! We took some of her suggestions. Their drinks where a bit watered down. I have had better micheladas at HOME. Their Jamaica and Horchata were nothing to rave about. Chips and guacamole fresh to def, just make sure you ask for NOONIONS, it had more than we cared for. Our waitress recommended the fish enchiladas! BOMB! The only reason I’d go back. I’ll take it to GO please! All in all it wasn’t too bad, reasonably priced, they just had too many guests per waitress for them to provide you GREAT service. She did a GREAT job none the less! What’s up with the armed security guard? Never felt safer?

Although there was a lot of security which is kind of sketchy, I really enjoyed the music and the seafood. I had the shrimp Sinaloa style and a small shrimp cocktail. It was both more than excellent and as about authentic you can get. Once you get pass the security guards and how crowded the place is, you get immersed into the food and culture, and I cannot help but crave this place.

It’s always packed on weekends but got here on a weekday and got seated and food was delicious. But the jukebox is a little too loud sometimes.

I am so happy I found this place again. I ate here about 12 years ago when I was 13 and it was amazing. I traveled through the remainder of my life thinking about the burritos that they make here. I was sooooo unsatisfied with all the other burritos that you would get at other small Mexican food place. The rice was either too soggy or old. Or the rice had carrots and peas in it. The meat would always by dry or bland. Same with the rice. Nothing ever compared. One night I decided to finally drive down baseline until I find this restaurant again. Found it. Ran inside. Sat down. Ad ordered a carne burrito with another appetizer involving shrimp. Squid and scallops. I was nervous that it would not meet my expectations, but they did not let me down. It tasted as amazing now as it did 13 years ago. Every bite was amazing. Definitely a must go, it’s definitely a gem

I came here sunday 2/3.it had been a while i am not a fan of fish, but my dad tricked me into trying their Marlin Tacos. OMG they where delicious! at $ 2.25 a piece they are well worth it. I’m definetly going back for more. The banda they had was really enjoyable as well. Singer was cute, and some routy older ladies where asking him to take his cloths off lol. I had as my main dish the asada and shrimp fajitas with cheese it was delicious but a little bit too much cheese for my taste. Overall I had a wonderful expirience!

Great mexican food! The wife and I have been going here several yrs. and they never disappoint. They have a variety of beer/mixed drinks as well if you want to just relax and take down a few brews. The best thing of all is the prices, cheap good food that wont brake your wallet! I would recommend.

Want delicious seafood for cheap prices? Then come here! They give you free crab salsa(regular salsa with imitation crab shredded into it) for free with your crispy, lightly salted chips. The waitress was attentive and brought us regular salsa as well. I got half a lobster with butter for under $ 20, and it came with a side of rice and beans. The lobster was a tad tough but the butter deliciousness made up for a little extra chewing. Seriously, I wanted to dip chips in the buttery sauce they used. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and delicious and the oysters were delicious(a bit dirty, but maybe that’s how fresh they were? Iunno…) and came with the standard lemon and-YES JESUS-Tapatio. So. Good. They use faucet water but they gave me a lot of it so whatevs. I don’t speak very much Spanish and our waitress didn’t speak very much English but pointing at things helps. She was always smiling and making sure she was understanding me until my brother showed up with his mad Spanish skills. I’d come back for the oysters and DATBUTTERSAUCE.

Visiting my best friends from in the IE for my birthday weekend, a group of 7 of us starving for great Mexican seafood, cold beers, stiff drinks, and live music!!! It was only 4pm and we had already scored perfection!!! I really do mean perfection. Being in the bay so long, I had forgot how bad we get hustled for outrageous prices compared to So Cal. Free List: 3 baskets of warm salted to perfection chips Green Salsa Tomato Chunky Salsa Crab Salsa(Yes real crab and plenty of it) Charalas, the Mexican version of a minnow, snack-sized dried fish!!! Drink List: OMFG!!! They have Cantaritos!!! For only 6.50!!! WTF A Cantarito looks like this and has lemon juice, lime juice, orange juice, grapefruit soda, and great tequila. Served in the classic cantarito!!! This drink defines Mexican Parties!!! The cheapest I have found up here in the bay is 12 bucks, so I was extremely happy. Mind you it wasn’t happy hour and the beers where just 2.75 to 3.25. Bucket of Coronitas $ 9 bucks!!! Food List: Mariscada(octopus, squid, crab, shrimp, scallops) marinated in an amazing sauce enough for 2 people only $ 11. I had to read the price 6 times!!! So damn yummy dude it’s not even funny!!! Coctel de camaron(Shrimp Cocktail) Big huge shrimp tons of them only $ 8.50!!! La Mariscos Espinoza Plate = Shrimp, Crab, Octopus, Tilapia, Lobster, Scallops, mussels, clams, and oysters!!! Serves 4 and only $ 40 bucks!!! Service: Every restaurant should have this little gadget they had it was the best!!! They have a button on every table and if you need anything all you do is press the button and they come right away!!! It works like wonders, we never where missing anything and didn’t have to wait forever! I really wish I could have taken this place back with me, great food, great prices, and excellent live music!!!
