I love Dr Newman! My husband, son, daughter, mother and myself have been going to her office for years. I had a bad experience years ago with another dentist (they did a root canal and left the nerve exposed for 3 days) and was nervous about dentists period. She made me feel so relaxed I had and have no worries at all. She pulled some of my teeth and I didn’t feel a thing and fitted me for dentures that fit great! My whole family loves her and Yvette and have been made to feel comfortable and cared about for almost 10 years.

I have been coming to Dr. Newman for as long as she has been in practice! Dr Newman is an excellent highly skilled dentist! She is gentle, thorough, kind, humorous & does superior work! The person who rated her low for asking for her SS# seemed like she WANTED to find something wrong! Unfortunately some people have problems because a dentist is a person of color & a woman. She couldn’t find anything wrong with Dr. Newman’s skills so she tries to find another way to discredit her! The location? Give me a break! From what this reviewer had to say it sounds like SHE was the rude one and accusing Dr Newman of wanting to steal her identity!!! Well I think it’s a good idea she find another dentist! I am CERTAIN Dr Newman wasn’t being rude! Knowing Dr Newman, she would NEVER be rude unnecessarily! She is too kind of a human being & a professional! If you accused her of wanting to steal your identity as if she was a common thief, who would blame her for telling you to find another dentist! What a horrible thing to say to ANYONE! I was offended reading that review to the point of finding it funny! Anyone who would say such an awful thing never got to know Dr. Newman! Get to know the content of her character, her skills as a dentist & you’d find an outstanding person & dentist! Please people disregard that person’s ugly comments! Try Dr. Newman for yourself! You’ll be glad you did! I had a chipped cracked tooth! Dr. Newman made it look like the accident to my tooth never happened!

Dr. Newman is a very good professional dentist .
She does everything to give her customers the best service possible at the best price.
I love the friendly office atmosphere. The office is very clean and comfortable.

I have been going to Dr. Newman for years and she is awesome! Very patient with my fear of needles and her work is always meticulous. I have never had a problem with any fillings and my teeth always feel great after she cleans them. She has the newest technology and computerized systems. The other poster sounds really paranoid questioning the security number issue. I’ve never went to a dentist that never asked for my ss#. Focus on the work that she does!

The other rater seems to have forgotten that SSN is required by any practitioner for billing/​records.
Dr. Newman is great at allaying fears of dental practitioners & taking are of what is needed (with as little pain/​stress as possible).

Dr. Newman’s policy is to VIOLATE my PRIVACY by asking for my Social Security Number. When I told her it violated federal law, she called the insurance company to get verification — low and behold WITHOUT my SSN — then returned to tell me that it is her OFFICE policy, NOT the insurance company’s policy (which she previously said) and told me to get another dentist! How RUDE and UNLAWFUL! And, it was a checkup and she refused to do a cleaning! Everyone should be aware of the fact that this business is not in a very safe neighborhood. It was also difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule. She literally told me to get another dentist because SHE wants my SSN! Not only that, but when I was filling out the forms, there were 2 that say I acknowledge that I have RECEIVED a copy of the 1) Privacy Policy; and 2) Patient Bill of Rights — WITHOUT RECEIVING THEM! Poorly, poorly run business! DO NOT GO here unless you want your identity stolen and then to be robbed in the parking lot!
