S & S Glass and Door

Hi, I called S and S Glass due to having a broken outside window on my entry door at my cabin in Cumberland, WI. The estimator drove out to measure the door but did not call me back with an estimate. I called to see if they could fix it and was told they would and then 2 months went by. I called back and was told they were sorry but they were really busy. I was then called by the installer who said he was at my cabin but when I went up the next weekend it still was not installed. I then received a call from the woman in the office saying the bill was $ 460.00 for one pane of glass. They charged me $ 15.76 for gas, $ 120 to drive to my cabin, $ 120 for labor and $ 173.99 for the glass. They then added $ 40.00 for miscellaneous. i do not know if there are other glass companies in the Rice Lake/​Cumberland area but I would steer clear of this outfit.
