I’m in complete disagreement with the negative reviews here. My experience has been the complete opposite. First, acupuncture treatment is a complex process that involves not just acupuncture, but actual lifestyle change and attitude adjustment(including managing stress levels, especially for migraine sufferers). Secondly, anyone complaining that their fertility treatments after six months have been ineffective should be combining these acupuncture treatments with other measurements of fertility(such as FSH testing, temperature monitoring of cycles, ovulation testing, etc.). Having said that, my wife and I have been seeing Dr. Zhou weekly since June. We’ve been seeing solid progress with not only her cycles, but the frequency and timing of her ovulation. We’ve had to modify our herb treatments since my wife’s stomach didn’t agree with most of them. We also did our own homework, looking up the nature of the herbs before taking them, and reading up on acupuncture treatment to understand and resolve problem pregnancies(The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis is one of them). Dr. Zhou has been very professional in terms of listening to our concerns and attempting to teach us some of the particulars about chinese medicine, as well as the nature of the deficiencies my wife was experiencing. From the beginning, she recommended particular foods and drinks to avoid, what activities we should be mindful of, and how we can effectively measure what ‘progress’ would look like. Dr. Zhou is also familiar with current procedures(IUI’s, embryo transplant, etc.) and infertility drugs(clomid challenge, Brevelle, etc.) and spoke to them very well when we reviewed our history of attempting to have a child. She has also stayed late several times when we’ve been stuck in traffic on the highway, sacrificing her personal time to make sure we received our weekly treatment and consultation. She’s also answered our e-mails both during the week and over the weekend, whether it’s a question or a consultation. If nothing else, arrange for a 30 – 60 minute consultation before having any acupuncture treatment done. This way, you’ll not only understand your options, but feel comfortable that you’ve found a sound professional you can rely on. Good luck, and take from this what you will.

In search of a solution to my migraine headaches, I came to this acupuncture center for two visits, hoping to notice a change in my body. I’m sure it takes longer than 2 visits to get results in some cases, but I didn’t notice a difference at all– other than being $ 170 poorer! I don’t have the money to keep giving it a chance. I could’ve bought some really cute fall boots with that money, instead of wasting it on something and not noticing any difference! After my 2nd visit, I got one of the worst migraines I’ve gotten in my entire life! The 2 stars: 1. The receptionist was polite 2. The décor was soothing Where are the other 3? I feel like Dr. Zhou didn’t really listen to the list of problems I told her I wanted to address– focusing solely on my headaches and none of the other medical issues I discussed with her. And the treatment obviously didn’t work because I was bedridden from an awful headache I got after my 2nd treatment. She was very polite, calm, and quiet, but I wasn’t satisfied with my treatment enough to come back.
