Freezer burnt ice cream and crappy food is what to expect from here. I’ve given them plenty of tries and different times and the end result always the same. Their breakfast food is all from the freezer(even the eggs). I wanted to customize an order and the cashier said they come out of the box that way. Yuck! I absolutely loved their old location and expected the same or better from the new. Definitely have rethought my stance on that and choose else where now. Beware!

Not a bad place. It could be a bit cleaner. There always appears to be a table or two always dirty. Burgers are good. TONS of ice cream related choices in the store section. Their milk always tastes fresh.

Not what I expected from the reviews I’ve read. This is a convenience store that serves ice cream, not an ice cream shop. I got a hot fudge sundae. It was ok as far as value. It was really basic, and the walnuts tasted like mold.

When this Braums first opened 8 or 9 years ago, it was great! The service was fast, orders were correct and nicely out together, and the food was good. Now in the past couple of years my husband and I have noticed that the dependability of the service has gone down. The cleanliness is not as consistent. My orders are almost always messed up. There have been times I’ve gotten vanilla milkshakes only to realize as I’m drinking it, that there are bits of strawberry or something else, who knows, from a previous milkshake in my drink! Gross! I ordered a 6 count chicken strip meal to share with my daughter. Had to wait over 5 minutes for it, only to get home and realize I only had 4 strips in my bag-when I had paid extra for 6! This is the second time this has happened to me. I called and told them about these problems and was told I would get a refund or my extra strips if I came back up to the store as long as I bring the food I bought with me. So by the time I could enjoy my food, everything would be cold. I told them no thanks, that they just lost my business and instead of getting chicken strips from them, I’d take my business to the Chicken Express that is opening right next door.

Never a problem with the food but the service in the drive thru is HORRIBLE. Every time I come it is consistently an unpleasant experience. Even the assistant manager wearing his name tag gave me bad service. Sorry I have to ask for a napkin when you hand me a cup with ice cream all over it.

I have been coming to this location for years and it is always consistent in service and cleanliness. Love the grocery store side as well its all ways stocked with fresh ingredients and there milk and juice is the best. Everything on the menu is very good and fresh everytime, and their fries are so good. If you want a good burger thats always fresh this is the spot, Then you remember you can have a ton of ice cream flavors in a cone, sunday or shake. Always a consistent place to come and bring the family.

I mean, who doesn’t love Braum’s? I remember when this location opened(it moved from a super old building down the street. Fuzzy’s is there now) and we were thrilled. It still feels really new inside and the employees definitely do their best to keep tables clean during the busy summer months. It does get busy, so do expect a wait both inside and in the drive thru. But it’s worth it, because Braum’s has some of the best ice cream ever. Cookies and cream is my go-to and it’s the best ever. I like it more than Blue Bell cookies and cream, by a mile. Rocky road is also freaking amazing, especially if you decide to go the sundae route: get some of the marshmallow sauce goo stuff on top. Oh man. That’s what I just had and I’m on cloud nine. Some employees have much more generous scoops than others, but no one will short change your scoop, for sure. And it’s all priced so reasonably, you really can’t go wrong. Go into their grocery section and get a pan of cinnamon rolls to take home. You’re welcome. Although, sorry for the diabetes you’re sure to develop after the ice cream, marshmallow goo, and cinnamon rolls. Worth it.

If you are going there, go and eat your favourite ice cream! That place is meant for consuming ice cream. The food is average and wouldn’t recommend having it. Good place to have deserts. Banana split is eye catching. Hot fudges are also cool.

Lovely food as always, super unfriendly drive thru workers. I will still keep going to this location as long as Tia doesn’t touch my ice cream sundaes.

Braums is my go-to ice cream shop where I get the best strawberry milkshakes. They will never disappoint. The line was pretty long today, but they hurried up people in the front so the wait was not too long. Very clean place and nice staff, would recommend.

Their service has improved a lot since last year– the docked star goes to mediocre cleanliness. Given this is the location grade schoolers usually come after sports competitions– nice and sweaty. Every time I come it’s pretty busy. It’s what you expect from your neighborhood Braums! Thank you for post exam depression lifters

My roommate and I are ice cream fans and Braum’s is one of our favorites. I love their turtle sundae with bananas, caramel, hot fudge and pecans over my choice of ice cream! Yum!

Showed up at the drive-thru right before closing. There were people outside and the lights were still on and all. Sat there for 5 minutes saying«is anyone there?» Then they turned off all the drive-thru lights and didn’t say a word, refusing to even take out or or apologize.

My wife and I got an urge for ice cream so we stopped in for a banana split. This place reminded me of being in high school! What a nice change of pace! We were able to customize our order… the young lady helping us was attentive and had suggestions. We also noticed a selection of items on sale in the back. I’m interested in trying the hot food sometime. We’ll definitely be back!

This is one of the nicest Braum’s I have been to. Located at Campbell and Coit(ish), this is a super convenient location that will not disappoint. Braum’s has the best ice cream and the best combinations. This store is much bigger than others I have visited and there was seating for large groups. My husband and I came here with another couple around 9PM, just after our small group. The place was packed with high school aged teenagers. This made it very, very loud. We had not eaten dinner, so my hubby and I decided to try the food. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries and I ordered the chicken strip basket. Mine came with a side of gravy, a dinner roll and fries. The gravy was luke warm at best and so was the rest of my food. The dinner roll was the best thing about the meal. Next time, I will stick with ice cream.

Can someone explain to me how a business work? I stood in the so called ‘line’ for 20 minutes because the guy who was serving us was hooking his buddies up with some free chocolate sundaes. How I know he ‘hooked’ them up? Because you get your ice cream then you pay. And this buddy of his took the ice cream and walked off and said ‘thanks man! I owe you one’ that’s fine. I get it. But if you are making the rest of the good hearted people who aren’t your buddies wait just because you are doing this then I might as well stay home and make my own ice cream instead of coming here and see your face. It ruined my day it ruined my ice cream and it ruined braums. Manager please look after your workers. They do not just represent themselves, they represent the restaurant and they represent the whole company. I am never coming back here ever again. I rather drive to another location than see his face. The. Worst.

I really wish there was a Braum’s in Houston!!! I seriously can’t believe that we don’t have this. I always forget how cheap the ice cream is here. Whenever I am in the Dallas area, my friends always mention Braum’s and I just can’t say no! One single scoop is as cheap as $ 1.39(I can’t quite remember the exact price) and a double scoop less than $ 2! I usually get mine in a waffle cone just because having it in a cup just defeats the purpose of getting ice cream at an ice cream place. Ya know? I like how they sell tubs of their own ice cream and of course different flavors. When you walk in, it’s half a convenient store that sells just ice cream, cones, and milk, and the other half is the dining area. I have yet to try their savory foods and I’m always meaning to but whenever I’m there, I’m only there for the dessert and it’s the ice cream. I mean, you can’t get an ice cream cone any cheaper than this!

Every time I am in the Dallas area, I head here for their burgers and fries. My kids love it too. Scrumptious food and ice cream. I would really love to have a Braum’s near Houston. The prices are reasonable and I don’t mind splurging for ice cream after my meal. Definite go to place!

This Braums is definitely a five star location. There is excellent ice cream to be had at the counter and there seems to always be plenty of customers. There are almost always specials every week. The hamburgers are more like an old fashioned, cooked on the grill, type that the so called«gourmet» found in so many of the high priced hamburger places today. We are sticking to the old fashioned ones. The prices are much better too. French fries are good but not the best of any fast food chain. They need to work on making them crispy however I am sure some people like them just the way they are. Since we live close by this is also our milk stop as Braums has, no question about it, the best milk at the best prices around. My heart doctor suggested I use Braums milk about 30 years ago and that has been the one to use for all of those years. It not only taste good, but continues to be fresh even up to and past the«suggested use» date. Just a good quality product.

Whoever doesn’t like Braum’s is out of this world crazy. Every time I stop by, I like to indulge in some old fashioned ice cream, with some old fashioned burgers and fries. Mmm, yum. So bad for the body, but so good for the taste buds. The whole atmosphere(amongst all Braum’s locations) gives you that nostalgic feeling that you’re living back in the 60’s. Not that I’ve lived in that era before, but you know what I mean. I believe it’s the company’s niche to look like it’s set in the 60’s. Even the commercials look ancient, if you may notice. I honestly think they reuse the same exact commercials as the original. As the whole world is advancing, Braum’s is stubborn and likes to keep it’s appearance exactly the way it was when the company first launched… in a good way! Tip: Around mid-late afternoon, especially now that we’re approaching summer, be wary of traffic surrounding the store. On my last visit, .was.full and the drive thru line stretched almost around the entire perimeter of the building. Talk about ridiculous! Man, Richardson peeps must love their Braum’s!
