I can’t really explain in words how much I love this place. It’s very inconspicuous and the only identifying aspects of this center is the Turkish & American flags out in front, and the sign«Turquoise Center.» Per a woman who attends Qur’an study that I met, the people who come here are about 50% Turkish people, and 50% other. The people who I’ve met here are the most friendly, warm, welcoming, sweet people I’ve ever run into. They have Qur’an study every Friday at 7:30PM, but if you show up at 7PM, they have dinner provided from the new Turkish restaurant down the street(free). Don’t be a «sohbat crasher,» though!(One who comes to Qur’an study for the free food, not for the study.) :-D
