My sandwich was not as good as Jenn’s the day we went here. Thus the difference between her two stars and my one. The sandwich I had way too much bread, and I really prefer my sandwiches to be warm. The macaroni salad was good though. What really surprised me was not one single chair, anywhere. So much for Jenn and I being able to sit and enjoy our lunch. Actually, it was an absolutely beautiful day and we ended up on a park bench outside. While I loved the fresh air and the Vitamin D, it was very hard to eat a box lunch out of your lap. We also didn’t realize our lunch combos didn’t come with drinks and ended up going to Jason’s Deli after finishing our sandwiches for drinks to inhale on our way back to work.

Ambiance — 0 Sandwich — 4 Service — 2 My sandwich rocked. This store didn’t have near the variety of lunch options I expected based on the HBH website. This store didn’t have A TABLE to eat it. Not even one! We sat on a park bench outside. I think I got stiffed on my drink because I didn’t get one and I think it was supposed to be included. Good for takeout. Bad if you want to have lunch with a friend.

Needed a quick lunch. didn’t get it, but I did get a pretty good sandwich. I stopped in today and the normal crew was working however something was different. They all seemed energized and much more customer service oriented. «Welcome to Honeybaked Ham, how I can help you?», «You work around here right, thanks for coming back», and so forth. I ordered and studied the environment to determine what caused the change. And then I saw, in the back, was the owner or manager, walking around doing inventory and prompting the counter people. It still took a long time for a sandwich that isn’t baked, but it was really really good.
