Had lunch on 6÷16÷16. The food was pretty good for the price. Needed the restroom 20 minutes later and every hr after. Woke up next day in cold sweats and stomach cramps that didn’t go away. Had bloody stool, nausea, cramps since then. Been throwing up every thing I eat and drink since. No doubt in my mind I got food poisening. Will not be going back. EVER!!!

This is a negative review. Run down and dilapidated building. Restaurant has cats outside in the dumpster. There is also diarrhea all over the men’s room. I spent $ 13.00 on Sunday buffet for one. But the food wasn’t even good. Some of the food I got was room temp and I could never return here. Never.

First of all, what a terrible fall has take this restaurant since it open. Food is bad and actually they also served to me raw chicken. Second, the food other than chicken like crab, meat, and sushi were smelly and Disgusting on flavor. Finally, the service is horrible, while I was eating one of the waiter(young lady) put the receipt on the table like if she wanted to kick me out of the restaurant. In conclusion, this restaurant is not just bad, but also dangerous for the raw food. Raw food like chicken can send someone to the hospital. Would I recommend this place again… Mmmmmm. NO!

Impressive variety of food! Mostly Chinese food but also some pot roast, barbeque, buffalo wings, and some other American food. Good quality food at an affordable price!

The quality of food at this establishment has gone wayyyy down over the years. I used to think their sushi area was the savior for this restaurant, but even that has gone downhill. I would just save your money and gas and find another restaurant to eat at.

There are already a lot of reviews on this restaurant, but relevant is that the place is under new ownership. The new owners are friends with the old, so they’ve been able to keep what was liked while trying to improve on what wasn’t. The restaurant has been redecorated and most importantly cleaned. The buffet area is the same layout with a few changes to the standard Ameri-Chinese buffet. We went last night and the food was fresh and well-prepared. There was a good selection of reasonably good food and the price was right. Someone recently wrote a review on this restaurant and noted a decline in food quality, and IMO this has been what I’ve seen across the board at Asian buffets, including the more expensive Japanese sushi buffets. There’s too much competition to support a price hike, but the price of food has skyrocketed(especially meat and seafood) over the past decade. I gave four stars because they’re doing a great job given market conditions.

I’m glad I decided to try this place rather than let the reviews guide my choice. It’s not my favorite place, and some dishes were a little bit cool, but the food and service were good. It was pretty standard for a Chinese buffet, but the BBQ pork and the honey were really good!

Great price, but after eating, I understand why! Quality of food was simply not good. I won’t return. Waitstaff is nowhere near attentive and all the tvs are in Spanish.(For obvious reasons)

If there was a possible way to give a negative star, I would have given this place a negative five star rate. I hate leaving food to waste, but the food was inedible. My daughter’s fried shrimp was extremely undercooked and the food was stale. All I could eat was the white rice. And at $ 9 a person I could have gone to H Mart and gotten a big ass bag of rice for the same price. Our waitress was nice and that was about the upside to this place. The only reason I came was because I was forced to, for lack of a better word. If it was up to me I would have been across the street at razoos.

Not the best buffet to go eat. Its 1 mile away from my place and its not worth the trip. The food looks good but it’s mostly cold.

OMG! This place was soooo bad. Sign outside says new management, but from the state of this place I doubt it. 1st thing that hits you when you enter is the smell. Then the food looks inedible. Tastes worse. They offer to make more of the subpar food if yo u need, which is a small step. I wouldnt dare though, tje fish smells bad, there are also flies buzzing around. The booths are falling apart also. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. I had the seseme chicken and I felt like I was chewing rubber, and glass at the same time. Sorry

This is the worst Chinese buffet that I’ve ever been to in my life. No exaggeration. Most of the food wasn’t fit to eat. I’m not picky and I usually can find several things to eat, but not here. The tea was even weak and impossible to drink. I thought I’d try some watermelon, but it was warm! The restaurant was evidently being used as daycare for employee’s kids. One kid, sitting alone, had the fun of the place with the TV remote on Nickelodeon at full volume. Also, my booth was falling apart! There were people eating here, but they probably didn’t have very high standards and just wanted something to fill up the family. One thing… the egg drop soup was really good, but that’s not enough to justify the rest. Sorry to have to say this, but it’s the truth. Beware…

«They had a wonderful variety of both Amercan and Asian cuisine. It was very tasty and reasonably priced! $ 10.99 for a buffet on Easter Sunday!»

disgusting. disgusting. DISGUSTING. ate some kind of fish that was offered at the buffet. it tasted & smelled spoiled. When asked what kind of fish it was, they did not know. are you kidding me? what kind of place doesn’t know what kind of food is served? mind boggled. NEVER returning.

Went there with 2 other families yesterday as one of our holiday gathering. Saw the reviews on Unilocal and yahoo prior. Have to say that it’s about as clean as any other Chinese buffet restaurant, so no worry about that as some reviews(I think it was on yahoo) have mentioned about cleanliness. Richardson is about 20 miles from my house. It’s not too far, but there are many other places closer. We went because we were craving dim sum, especially for buffet as we all have small kids(and big stomach for myself). The restaurant dining room and rest room are all OK, little on the old side but tolerable. The service was typical. Waiter came and filled out water few times, and cleared the plates within reasonable time frame. The food was OK. It had the typical Chinese buffet style, with some freshly grilled BBQ of Korean short ribs. It looked great, but the meat was not as tenderized as the way I would have made it. And the dim sum, which was the main reason we’ve went was just OK. There were not much selections, which I was disappointed. They had maybe 5 or 6 dim sum type of food. Egg Tart was the only one I’ve liked as the sesame ball was too greasy and was too thick with just gluten flour and little of the sweet bean paste filling. The others are not worth mentioning. Overall, we’ve all decided to try somewhere else next time. It’s not bad, but it’s not good enough to warrant any craving to come back anytime soon.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few years ago, usually at lunch, and was very satisfied with the offerrings, service and price. . They even have plum balls — the small dough balls, filled with plum jelly(?) quick-fried, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. YUM. . This evening, even after the dinner rush at 7.30, everything was fresh and tasty. . Now that I’m living close to this location again, it will most likely become my choice for chinese buffet — but not too often — it’s too easy to overeat and gain weight, when everything is enjoyable !.

I know that there are low scores here, but as a Californian here and usually from a place where there is plenty of Chinese food to come around, I do know a bit as to the tastes and quality of it. Let me just say that every time I visit here I do look forward to this place. I say this because we have a bunch of buffets here in the LA area and in California in general. I would say that this gets more traditional than what a buffet usually offers. I know that some buffets do offer a variety of selection and that it is of poor quality. However, when I tasted this buffet a few years back, I honestly think that it is better than any of the buffets and chinese food places in California. I thought it was fresher here and I say that the food is of decent quality. Of course in buffets you will not get THE best quality of food, but it is good enough that it is worth it for a buffet. So yes, I would come back here at any time!

Needed a quick Chinese fix. My husband and I showed up close to closing on a Sunday evening, and the selection wasn’t great. For the most part, the food was acceptable and we left satisfied for the low price. I’m not sure I’d return, but if so, I would definitely go earlier in the day! *However, the baked mussel made me feel like I was doing a mayonnaise shot-gross!

I was praying for cleanliness as I opened the door. I must admit I was a bit sketchy walking in but I really had a craving for lo mien. Although I didn’t partake in the buffet offerings witch seemed plentiful, I ordered off their modest little menu. Small beef lo mien=$ 4.70 That order was enough to feed me for lunch and have extra for dinner! It was delicious even the lady who rang me up said so. The lo mien had white onions, green onions, celery, and carrots. Maybe I will give the buffet a try the next time around.
