I purchased a Groupon coupon for this location. Please be prepared for a hunt to locate the facility, as there is not a sign out on the street! Additionally, there is little signage upon driving into the lot. I arrived early and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes, no one at the front desk. Eventually, the person providing my manicure came out and acted really surprised that I was there… even though I had an appointment. The manicure itself was standard fare, charged me an additional $ 10 for the french tip style and there was not a sink to wash my hands — the warm towels were filthy and it was actually disturbing. I have no complaints about the shellac manicure, in fact it has lasted for a week without chipping, unheard of for me. But, even though the product is good, I would not return to this location or technician. One last comment, during the manicure, the technician had a runny nose and kept wiping her nose with her hand and then continuing with my manicure. I believe a health inspector would have issue with this level of hygiene.

I am writing this on behalf of a friend who went there on Saturday buying a Groupon Now: I decided to try the new«Groupon Now» option and get a quick massage on a Saturday afternoon. I was unable to contact the company directly so decided to walk in for an appointment before the voucher expired at 5pm. The first red flag was the building with no sign. I found out from an employee I ran into that the place I was looking for was in a darkened room in a shared office building. I knocked and on the third try, someone asked who was knocking — I said I was looking for«Rain Water Creek». The voice told me to give her 5 minutes. A good minute and a half later a pretty young lady answered in clothing that certainly wasn’t scrubs and a creepy looking guy came out behind her, scampering away. Now, I have no intention of shutting this ladies«business» down but I would advise that if she is doing what I think anyone else would assume she is doing, Groupon will not want to continue to send their members to her. Thankfully she didn’t have any more appointments for the day so I didn’t need to come up with an awkward excuse as to why I wasn’t interested in her«services».

Hey, it would be great if you answered your phone! I can’t actually give a review on the spa itself, I called to make an appointment and the number had changed. So I made my way to the actually spa to speak to a real live person, turns out, they don’t have enough staff to have a person at the front desk. Seeing as I’m not one to sit around and wait for an hour, I checked their website and called the NEW number listed on there. I’m just waiting for a call back, it’s only been about 4 weeks. I think I will be needing a refund on the voucher I received. If you can’t answer your phone, or have someone on hand to call me back, then I suppose you must be so busy you don’t need the business.

What a disappointment!!! I found out about this place through Living Social and bought the ‘deal’ for the mani/pedi. I called quite a while after I purchased to make an appointment. I was able to make an appointment by phone, but I wanted one in late June. The lady told me that due to the overwhelming response they received from their ads on Living Social and Buy With Me, everything for the time that I wanted was booked. I was able to get one for August 12th. Yesterday, I decided to check on my appointment and came upon these reviews left by others. Needless to say that I was quite surprised to see that it was posted that this Spa had failed it’s inspection, and that other potential clients had difficulty making appointments! I called the Spa, and since no one answered, I left a message. My call was not returned, so I called again. The telephone number listed on Unilocal is out of service! This is very suspicious to me, so I simply called Living Social and had my money refunded. In situations like these it is good to know when to take a hint and press on. Arrrrrgggggggg! I waited all this time for nothing! UPDATE: I received a call from the Spa this morning(August 12, 2011), the caller saying that she apologizes for just now returning my call, since she«checked the voice messages late». She called me to tell me that my appointment will have to be cancelled and that the failed inspection was due to the remodeling that they are undergoing, and not unsanitary conditions at the place.(rolls eyes) I told her that I was one step ahead of her since I had already cancelled my appointment myself and got my money back. She seemed pleasant enough. I can only wish them good luck in the future.

Well, as appealing as the BuyWithMe deal was, it ended up being more of a hassle. I tried to book with a friend, but appointments were difficult to schedule over the phone. I was instructed to book online and was unable to find an ideal time, so went ahead with what was available. Regardless, I just recieved a call from the spa indicating that THEYDIDN’T PASSINSPECTION, and had to cancel all pedicures/manicures. Sketchy. They said I could keep my voucher and upgrade to eyelash extensions. I passed. If you’re not sanitary enough to do my feet, what makes you think I’d let you near my eyes??? Gross. Blessing in disguise… and lesson learned. Think twice about a pedi/mani deal voucher!

My friend and I bought a deal through LivingSocial for this Spa. It sounded like a steal – a mani and a pedi for $ 25. Right after she put it on her credit card, she called, and a lady answered saying she was too busy to put it on the calendar. My friend then attempted to schedule our appointments online, wasn’t able to, called again, and left a message on their machine. I called and left a message. I, too, attempted to schedule the appointments using their ridiculous online scheduler. I’m a Spanish teacher, and I could probably create a more user-friendly program. I called two more times, and neither my friend nor I have received ANY communication from anyone. They need to COMMUNICATE with people. We bought this deal from them MONTHS ago. I realize they are probably busy, but I have no doubt they have turned off a lot of potential clients.
