Dinner was great. Your choice of nice options and I recommend ordering off menu. Good pairings.

Went on a Saturday night and were immediately seated. Had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. It was good, but $ 4 a shrimp. I had the New York Strip. It was overcooked and under seasoned. I ordered medium and there wasn’t any pink at all. I expected better.

One of THE best steaks I have ever had(bone-in ribeye)! Service was excellent. This was our wedding anniversary, and they made us feel very special. I would HIGHLY recommend this place

Convenient and easy to get a table. Whenever we can get a babysitter to watch the kiddos the wife and I make it here. They have a great dinner for 2 special on the menu, that pretty much gives you s fee side… not to mention every plate comes with potatoes and snap peas. Calamari is great, way better than most places. Haven’t done much on the wine menu, but they do have good cocktails, especially ones for the wife.

WOW! While I can be very selective about steaks(due to connections who raise their own cattle), this restaurant has AMAZED me Twice! After a company dinner at the Silver Fox, I was amazed & wanted to see if that was the exception, or the rule. Tonight I returned & it was just as good. They have the BEST calamari that I have ever tasted. The filet mignon was incredible(again). Service was friendly and efficient on both visits. I WILLBEBACK.

My husband took us here for my birthday. We would always drive by on our way home and we finally decided to try it. The restaurant was amazing the food was amazing! The service was amazing too. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides of peas and mashed potatoes were really good. We would definitely go back again!

The hubs and I came here for my birthday. Service was great and the food was good even though I thought it was a little overpriced considering it wasn’t crazy good. We have visited numerous steak houses and this one was a miss. The only reason why I’m not giving five stars is because with just the two of us we were seated in a semi large dining area, right in the middle of the room to a very small two person table. To be honest this table should have not been in the room. I was constantly scooting over so people could get by and I was tired of being shoulder rubbed. This was the table that was like a last minute thought, even the water guy forgot us. Ha! Anyway, if we go again I think we will just sit at the bar.

Dinner for 20 was excellent. Go for the NY strip cooked medium rare and your plate will be filled with yummy au jus to slop up with slices of steak and bread. Bone in filet was ordered by many but folks thought is was dry. Save $ 18 and go for the strip. We ordered a variety of apps and all were excellent. Bourbon mushrooms were especially good. Wedge salad was a hit l, homemade dressing up as awesome, although the amount of dressing could have been less. All and all, great choice for steaks.

We came here because we got a coupon from our hotel(that we forgot to use), and were really impressed with the friendliness of the bartender and hostess while we waited for a table. Our waiter was friendly also(although he did bring us the wrong tab) and the steak was cooked perfectly, but the veggies that come with it(5 snap peas and a slice of tomato, in case you’re wondering) were sad looking and hardly cooked. Overall, I would return if I remembered the coupon, but I do think Silver Fox is overpriced for the experience.

I came here on NYE with friends and had a great experience. We started with the calamari and the crab cakes. Both were excellent. The calamari was the best I have ever had and came with a delicious sweet, spicy sauce. The bread is amazing. I ordered a filet(cooked medium) peppered and it might be one of the best I’ve ever had as well. Everyone in our group raved about the food. I will be coming back!

$ 5.25 happy hour is great, although the food on our last visit was subpar. The prime rib was WAY overcooked and had to be sent back. Looked like they gave us an end piece that was cooked the day before. Bread always fantastic but the mashed potatoes on our most recent visit were hard and didn’t seem fresh either. The apps were very lack luster as well. Overall, our table was very disappointed for the price and compared to our other visits here.

Wow did they bounce back. Reservation on time, a nice quiet table, excellent 5 course meal from beginning to end, and a phenomenal server. The ownership is what makes this place a must. Jason goes out of his way to please, and if you ate displeased he bends over backwards to change the experience to better. That is good business management and why this place is worth every penny. They are back to being my favorite local steakhouse. The others are too trendy, loud and don’t seem to care whether a customer returns. With Jason, you feel he values your business if you’re there once a month or once a year.

Don’t understand anyone giving this place less than 3 stars. Staff is attentive and food is spot on.

Visited there 2 weeks ago on Saturday evening, for our 30th anniversary. Tried calling for reservations, no one ever answered phone. Made reservations through an online service. Sign on door said proper dress attire, husband was concerned because he had dress shorts on. I saw a variety of attire walk in that was not dress. We were asked if we were celebrating anything special as we were seated. We told them our anniversary, was congratulated. Our waitress takes drink orders, brings them and asks if we were celebrating anything special… again, yes! Why bother asking when seating us if not relaying it to waitress?! Atmosphere was quiet, waitress was not. Her voice carried loudly. We placed our order. The appetizer«a crab cake» was very good, plenty of crab meat and fresh. We slowly enjoyed it. The waitress came over in her loud voice and said it will be a while that your meal arrives, you took care of your appetizer too fast! Food arrived. I got the filet. Cooked just like I ordered, good flavor and very tender. Snap peas and garlic mashed potatoes were the sides. We did notice other tables with baked potatoes, even french fries. We were not offered a choice of sides or recommended any additional sides. Would have been nice for that to have happened. Because it was our anniversary we were offered a dessert on the house. She rushed through the choices, I picked cheesecake just because I thought it would be okay. Again, would have been nice for recommendation. I had one glass if wine, husband had tea. He had New York Strip. Total bill was over $ 120.00.

Came here because of the Groupon deal I bought and because my boyfriend absolutely loves steak. The attire is business casual, I’m assuming they are ok with jeans on Friday because I had that with a nice blouse. The atmosphere is very nice but, slightly stuffy. We started with the Ahi tuna and it was actually very good! The flavor of the drizzle and the tuna just blended really well. I ordered the 12oz N.Y. steak. All steak dishes come with mashed potatoes, snow peas, tomato and green onion. I ordered it medium well and it was cooked to perfection! I was very pleased with it. It was juicy and the other side items were good. My boyfriend ordered the 18oz prime ribeye, medium rare. It was really juicy and had so much flavor! I was a little jealous I didn’t get mine this way. Dessert was cheesecake with pecan Carmel drizzle It was delicious! The caramel tastes like Mexican caramel/cajeta. We finished it. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable but, not very attentive. I’m not sure if that’s how you gotta be in a place like this lol but I could safely say he only went by to either drop off food, drinks and check. Here’s what cracked me up, one of the servers stopped by to ask how everything was. We said it was good and asked about dessert, he laughed and said oh plenty of time for that And literally walked away from the table lol it was pretty funny but, Also kind of rude, but we got dessert so no worries. Overall? Pretty happy with our food and drinks and at the«eh» scale on the service.

Fancy shmancy steakhouse in Richardson that we were introduced to last night for a close friend’s birthday! We scored a private dining room since our party was rather large. We arrived a little early so we grabbed a seat at the bar and our bartender, Milo, served us. He was awesome! Very friendly and helpful but not overly chatty. A scotch and a red blend wine ran us about a $ 30. I guess it costs a hefty tab to get a chic ambiance like this. Once we finished our drinks, we met up with friends in the back room. We had the best service that I ever remember having anywhere in a long time! I forgot our waiter’s name, but he was phenomenal! Because of our group size he threw in a couple complimentary appetizers, was well-versed on the menu, offered helpful suggestions and was quite funny. Our food came out promptly and was not disappointing. My boyfriend opted for the ribeye and was raving about how tender and juicy it was. I opted for the Atlantic salmon which was glazed and swerved along sweet potatoes and grilled veggies. Pretty solid but not exceptionally memorable. Still the service was so wonderful, the ambiance so chic and my boyfriend was so pleased that I’m sure we’ll be back another time. Great choice for Valentine’s Day as well… Fellas take notes. Though this place might run you a pretty penny.

When you pull up to the strip mall this place is located in, it doesn’t quite feel like the comparable locations nearby that give you the Dallas feel. That being said, the feel of this place on the inside is night and day from what you get on the outside. Inside of Silver Fox is actually pretty nice. The lighting is nice and sexy, the staff is dressed for their part, and the bar is quite attractive as the dim lights bounce off the many bottles in the back. The front desk staff was friendly and well spoken, she was polite and made me feel welcome. My wife made reservations to have my birthday dinner here; I had been here before, but it’s been a while. We arrived and we were seated pretty fast. I originally wanted to bring my own bottle and pay a corkage fee, but they don’t allow for that, so back to the car my nice Artesa Morisolii Cabernet went… no worries, I have no problem buying their wine since the wine list is pretty extensive. I ordered a bottle of Justin Cabernet from Paso Robles; I happen to dig that bottle and it’s reasonably priced. When the waiter brought our wine over to the table, the decanter was dirty. I mean to the point that you could see where the last bottle had drips down the side of the bottle. I wondered if they even washed it… This is not good, especially when I’m about to order my food. While I understand that people don’t drink from the decanter, it was still pretty gross to see old wine in my «should be clean» decanter. It’s like going on a date with a hot chick that has body odor, she’s still hot, but c’mon man, she’s stanky, and that just ruins the vibe!!! So the waiter brought back a «cleaner» version of the decanter, to be honest, this one didn’t seem a whole lot cleaner, but it was at least better than the other one. I was a little discouraged at this point since it seems like the waiter lost his vibe with me after I asked for a clean decanter. He didn’t seem to like it when I said, «can I please have a clean decanter?» So imagine this, my wife and I are at my table with a bottle of wine, I have a waiter that is less friendly and seems a bit annoyed, and I’m still not super happy with my wine decanters cleanliness. Should I decide to complain, I feel I am putting myself in a compromised situation. I was tempted to ask his just to pour my wine from the bottle, but I figured worse case, I know people don’t actually put their mouth on the decanter, they just pour their wine out of it… so I let it be… on to the food… There were small details that were kind of nice, like for instance they took my wife’s white napkin and brought her a black napkin to match her dress and the silverware were clean. LOL. The place was not too crowded for a Thursday night, so it was pretty quiet. I ordered the wedge salad; my wife ordered the mixed greens. For dinner I ordered the baseball cut filet and my wife ordered the scallops. My steak was cooked very well, but I’m not going to do the happy dance for a well-cooked steak when I’m at an expensive steak house, it’s SUPPOSED to be well cooked. The sides were pretty yummy too, we had the mac and cheese, creamed spinach. My wife especially loved the sweet potatoes. My steak came with snap peas and mashed potatoes. We had a lot of food. I’ll just say it, this place was just OK. I didn’t have a bad experience, but I didn’t have a great experience. I’ve been to several places recently where I have had great experiences. I gave this place three stars but it really deserves two and a half stars. Nothing really stood out, there was nothing that left me wanting to come back. I imagine they do quite well, but for me, it wasn’t a love connection.

I was pleasantly surprised by ambiance considering the location. The food was above average, the waitstaff was attentive enough but there wasn’t anything about it that justified 5 stars. 4 stars might be stretching it a tad but I read a lot if bad reviews but was it was overall pleased with the food. The 3 forks salad was really good but why not come up with your own tasty salad? My filet came with mashed potatoes and we split the creamed corn. The waiter boasted it as their famous creamed corn but it was about the same as all I have tasted. I would go back, it wouldn’t make my top 5 steakhouse list but certainly worth trying. It was pretty pricey, dark and had full on a Thursday night at 7pm.
