they opened a little restaurant next to the market, outstanding. Start with tacos and you can choose meats, preparation, etc. the work your way around the menu. Good prices and different types of meals,
Then go next door and get chips, meats and baked goods, fun place good people

Oh dear, this place is good.
I drive my it everyday to and from work, so I stop in often to pick up cilantro, tortilla chips, tortillas, limes, etc. They have a small grocery store, stocked with all your Mexican food needs, all reasonably priced and fresh produce.
They also have a meat counter, and sell certain foods (like cooked meats) to take home to make your own Mexican feast! (I’ve had the barbacoa at a staff meeting before. Num nums.)
BUT, the big news is that they recently opened a little café attached the market! Woo hoo! I had been eying it up on my daily drive, but was afraid to go in (I have an irrational fear of looking dumb). However, I stumbled on this article, and HAD to go in:

So, I used to work at a Mexican restaurant in high school, so my standards are high. I know my stuff. I order the gordita, because I used to eat them all the time in high school. I was curious about it because A. The price was really high for something that is usually small like a taco B. I don’t see them many places C. I read about it in the above article
I order the barbacoa, though I am not a regular red-​meat eater. Oh my. OH MY. It was huge. A meal. The «bread» that surrounds it is made when you order it, fluffy and corny. The meat was juicy and flavorful (and not fatty!) and it was topped with salty cotija cheese, lettuce, and came with a red sauce and a green sauce.
I am a sauce freak. I love hot sauces. I put them on everything. I dumped those 2 sauces on there with no shame. The red one was a milder tomato-​y sauce, the green one a more traditional, tangy green sauce.
Ok, I could go on about this simple gordita, but I will control myself.
The food is delicious, the options (meats, vegetarian options) are plentiful, the portions large, the décor is simple but sunny.
