The food and service were excellent. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is becaise they didnt have chili relleno, which in on the menu.

Absolutely amazing. If you’re traveling through this is the best. Don’t stop for fast food with a great option like this. The tacos were perfectly seasoned and all the different salsas were well balanced

Had the enchiladas poblanas. Very good. I was worried it might be too hot. It was very good. Authentic people running the place. Salsa could have used a little more flavor but overall good. Will come back

Don’t let the good reviews fool you! We stopped here on a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas and we were lured in by the four star rating. Let me first say that the service was pretty good and friendly. Unfortunately that’s the only nice thing I can say about it. The food: worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. It was very suspicious that our food was ready about 5 minutes after we ordered. We noticed immediately that there were splatters around the edges of our plates as if they were microwaved. You know when the sauces get hot and start popping in a microwave. Our plates clearly had that. I had the daily special which was a chimichanga and a tamale with beans and rice. The beans and rice were very bland. The tamale was very crumbly and the sauce that was on it was quite bitter. The worst offense was the chimichanga. It was filled with refried beans. I had never had a chimichanga that was filled with refried beans and it was nasty. When we were leaving we could see into the kitchen. It appeared as though everything was pre cooked and in separate metal containers so they could just slop the food onto a plate and throw it into the microwave. Save yourself the intestinal cramps and bad taste in your mouth and keep driving when you come Taqueria La Gringa. There is a McDonalds a few blocks away and it is an infinitely better option than this place.

excellent authentic tacos in a remote part of Utah. Mucho mas fina. A large selection of taco styles with good service.

La Gringa is our most favorite place to eat! We love everything we have tried and keep going back again and again. It’s definitely the most authentic Mexican food in the valley. Try it! You won’t regret it!

Great food, owner is an excellent guy. Highly recommended. There are 7 or 8 Mexican restaurants in the area. None come even close to the authenticity of this place.

A day on Lake Powell and our subsequent road trip had left us famished. Restaurant options in the area are scarce, so we were thrilled to find this little Mexican restaurant open until 10pm. I was dying for some chips and salsa and was pleased that they brought the chips out warm and pleasantly surprised by the guacamole. I ordered a couple street tacos and enchiladas and my husband ordered tacos and a beef dish. All were delicious. This isn’t up there with the Red Iguana in SLC, but definitely deserves 5 stars for providing delicious cheesy sustenance for weary travelers in central Utah.

Good find on the I70 drive. Chili relleno, pork tamale and street tacos were all good. Tortas and other good looking things on the menu too. By Utah standards, the place could be a 5.

We started our evening with this restaurant. The chips were stale, the salsa so bland that it was inedible. No alcohol although it is posted otherwise on Unilocal. We left without ordering. Don’t bother here.

Had a very good authentic Mexican dinner here. Only downside was no beer or Marguerita with alcohol, which is typical in a small Morman town.

Passing through on a road trip to CO with the hubby and dog. I wanted to try this place out but wasn’t sure they were dog friendly. They let us sit out on the patio, no problem. The service was super friendly. I was really surprised at the quality and authenticity of the food. Their verde sauce is awesome! I had the chicken enchiladas, green. Hubby had a variety plate of street tacos. Barbacoa and Al pastor were his faves. If you are passing through or live in Richfield you definitely need to try this place out!

I love road trips and thanks to Unilocal I don’t have to suffer through greasy roadside food. On our way to Moab, we had to leave much later than we wanted to and after driving through pretty sparsely populated country I started getting nervous that we wouldn’t find anywhere to stop. Unilocaled Richfield and ended up here. I had the sopes with asada and my husband had the Campeche tacos with a side of refried beans. The sopes were huge and tasty. They were a little on the bland side, green salsa that came with them was good, just not enough. I should have asked for some spicy salsa. My husband thought his tacos were the real deal and he enjoyed them. Service was very friendly. Not a bad place to stop.

Passing through town looking for decent Mexican food. I spotted this restaurant look like a fast food place but it was much more. The service was outstanding very pleasant and attentive staff and the food was just excellent. Check my photo!

We stopped in Richfield, UT because if you are on your way to Vegas and it’s late, you are totally SOL — short of luck. Ha, fooled you. Hubby came back to the hotel after deciding to brave the elements for genuine Mexican food and said«I bought dinner at your place.» Huh? It was called«La Gringa.» Oh, aha ha ha, har har, hardee, har har. He had some tacos con enchiloso — tacos too hot, at least for me and he bought me a cheeseburger. Wow, yay, a 2000 mile road trip and I get a cheeseburger. Yippee. Sure can’t get that item everywhere… This one tasted like a gourmet BK whopper. You know, probably how they used to be when BK rolled them out. It’s been over a week with two stops in Vegas, four days in San Diego, numerous days of eating and he has declared this place the winner of his personal«real» taco quest of road trip 2015.

I have had almost every street taco they serve and all of them have been great. Prices are good. Service is attentive. Try the chorizo taco. The free chips and salsa are great!

We stopped at Taqueria La Gringa on our Road Trip Honeymoon from LA to Indy, and were not disappointed. My husband might have a thing for food challenges, so I wasn’t surprised when we ended up ordering the Conquistador — a massive burrito probably 5 times the size of my typical portion. Because we worked as a team, we weren’t actually in the running to have our photo on the wall for finishing, but even with two contenders, we would have been hard pressed to clean the plate. Luckily, it reheats brilliantly as a breakfast burrito the next day. Great service, tasty margaritas. Definitely worth the drive to Moab after a hike around Arches.

My wife and I were camping at Otter Creek and it was hot so we went to Richfield to see a movie so we could cool down. We also had dinner here at La Gringa. The food was great. I had enchiladas and tacos al pastor. My wife had a burrito. I would go again for sure.

If you are local or just traveling through, La Gringa Taqueria is a must stop! The food is very authentic and full of flavor. This is one of the only places in Utah where you can find authentic mole made with cocoa!
