This place is absolutely amazing! The food is constantly changing. The change may seem a little off putting but this actually makes the experience better because you know the food is fresh. Their corn bread stick appetizers are amazing and their maple grille bacon is like its own meal. This is most definitely a place you should try!

Wow! I grew up helping with all the chores associated with my grandparents farm, including raising some of the best white faced Herefords in Northwest Michigan. So hearing that it subscribes to the new popular concept of farm to table really excited me. So New Years Eve was the time a group of us decided we were going to venture out and eat here. I am so glad to say that the meals we had, were some of the most fresh tasting and incredibly prepared I and my group have honestly had in any restaurant in this area. My sirloin was made to perfection and so tender, I cut it with a butter knife, yep, you read that right, it was like«butta». The others chose the Brisket and they were in heaven as well. The corn dodgers, or as most call them, corn bread biscuits, were the most refined and delicious I have had since a child on the farm. Dessert! OMG, Apple and Walnut bread pudding with a maple cream sauce poured over. If I still smoked, I would have lit up and cuddled with the empty dish afterwards if I could have. LOL If you haven’t gathered so far, this place by far, is the best experience and food I have had in this area. I table watched or should I say gawked to scope out other delights for my return visit. I must say, the burgers looked like sin on a bun and the wood fired oven pizzas looked and smelled unbelievable. So if you haven’t taken that 5 to 10 minute drive to go have a great lunch or dinner at prices that will shock you that they aren’t double what they charge for the quality, then get off your duff and GO!!! Btw, I haven’t really mentioned the staff, but they are as great as the food. They are friendly, down to earth and so helpful.

Very good food, everything is farm to table, cooked on a wood fire stove. I’ve tried the MG burger, several different pizzas, veggie burger, steak and pork. The menu changes with the seasons, but never disappoints.

We had an absolutely fabulous meal here — the locally sourced food was fantastic(some of the tasty chow on our table: steak tartare with homemade crackers; blue pumpkin bisque; a chicken burger with apple slaw; a wood fired pizza with chicken, bleu cheese and kale; apple-chestnut bread pudding). We also enjoyed a couple of house beers, a kolsch and an oatmeal stout. Our servers wete friendly and fast. The atmosphere is casual and cozy even though the dining room is the size of a small warehouse; the wood oven and general deliciousness from the kitchen make the place smell like a real farmhouse. There is a kids’ corner with a mechanical pony ride, chalkboard and other amusements for children. We just had such a good time here… there was nothing we did not like, including the insanely modest prices for a farm-to-table, snout-to-tail restaurant — less than $ 50 for two of us, including our beer. And it gladdens my heart to see this type of eatery thriving, not in a big city of college town, but out amidst the farmsteads of rural Michigan. I would encourage anyone traveling in mid-Michigan to have a meal here.

Really good food and love that they use farm fresh ingredients. A unique experience. Even though they have a limited menu, because they buy locally, it still seems like there is a great variety to choose from, something for everyone.

It was our 1st trip to Maple Grille & it won’t be our last. The people were so nice & the food was excellent! The smell inside between the food & wood fire grill was so good you didn’t want to leave. Just try it you won’t be unhappy.

Checked this out after learning about it on Unilocal,as well as hearing from friends, and it’s certainly a unique experience. I got the Maple Grille burger, which was really good; nicely seasoned with a good taste from the condiments added. I was less than enthusiastic about the potato salad that came with it, but that’s a personal preference, and the grilled beets were great. I plan on trying the pizza next time we stop in here. Since the menu changes daily, I wish I had checked their Facebook page before visiting. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a farm-to-table restaurant.

Cleanliness…5 Food…5 Service…4 Price…5 Atmosphere…4 Food is amazing and always fresh… It sucks they do not have booze and you have to grab your beverage out of a cooler… I head chef is VERY arrogant and should not interact with customers and the stools are the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat in… Other then that I would recommend this place to everyone because it truly is AMAZING food.
