The cheese is great here. The staff will always answer my questions about the cheese and suggest a cheese I may like from our conversions. I like most of their food. I wish they had a little more seating there. They also have some good wines and they match them well with your cheese. Its worth checking out just to look around at all the things they have in there.

The staff is unfriendly and more interested in chatting among themselves then to help a customer or even be bothered to greet customers. The food was disappointing and the knowledge of wine sadly lacking. And while the prices were what I expected and the selection of wine and cheese was good, I will not be going back.

I’ve not eaten in their deli yet but this is my place to go for fondue cheese. They have European and local cheeses that are hard to find! Great staff and shop!

The cheese selections are great and ever changing. One of my favorite things to order is their large cheese board and a nice glass of wine. They have great events and live music planned every month. The atmosphere is enjoyable and relaxing. I didn’t give 5 stars because I’ve found the food to be hit or miss. Always either order the torte while dining in, or go in and purchase one to go! YUM!!!

Wow, just wow. They do breakfasts on Fridays because of the farmers market. I walked in and sat down at a table. I ordered a Seattle beer and the breakfast special. It was a twist on eggs benedict. A toasted piece of bread, salmon like sauce, beef, greens, cheese and an over easy egg. It was heaven, a genius combination of flavors. I was brought a few cheese samples throughout the process. Wonderful experience.

Get a cheese plate if you come here. A steak sammi too. Awesome place with some great stuff. They even have a selection of loose leaf tea if you’re into that sort of thing.

A fun and fabulous local find. Staff are super knowledgeable and create a warm, comfortable experience. I ordered the Cranberry Bleu Salad. An ample-sized salad arrived quickly. The mixed garden greens were tender and the salad sparkled with tart/sweet cranberries. Crispy, toasted pecans added crunch. The raspberry vinaigrette was served on the side so you can add as much as you wish. Hot baguette added a hearty side. But the absolutely best part was the mountain of creamy, blue-veined deliciousness provided by quality bleu cheese.

A wonderful little place to eat and browse. I like so many things on their menu, the Mac n Cheese is wonderful, the Cranberry Bleu Salad, Apple and Brie Panini some of my favorite things to order. The cheese plate is always a nice snack to visit over. The staff was helpful and friendly.

This little restaurant, is quite different than another restaurant I’ve been to. One half of the room is dedicated to the cheese shop, while the other half is the restaurant. However when there are too many people in the restaurant part of the room they have some tables and chairs located in the cheese shop. The atmosphere is very appealing and the food is very delicious. My favorite apple and brie panini sandwich. I highly recommend coming here and try some of their food.

Atmosphere gets a 2 out of 5, as we definitely felt awkward asking for a table and the hostess/cashier didn’t seem to be able to handle working in both a restaurant and a store. I wasn’t really into the store part, as it seemed like a lot of random stuff cobbled together inside a cheese shop. 4 out of 5 stars for the awesome cheese and wine. Plus, once we were actually seated, the service was great. Will definitely be back.

So all the dishes here were delicious. We had a group of 7 so we sampled a bit of the menu. They have entertainment for children and the staff was super friendly and efficient. The steak Sammi is sooooooooooooo good!!! Really enjoyed it. And all the Flatbreads were delicious. And the children enjoyed them as well. The only thing I would mention is that the place needs a good dusting.

This is our first time here, and it will certainly not be our last! We hv been all of the country and this place rhe best soup & salad, along with a wonderful wine and beer selection. The atmosphere is casual chic, and is a wonderful place to stop in and relax… And who knew, right in downtown Richland on the Parkway???

Delicious, but a very weird dining experience. We knew it was part cheese shop, part restaurant, so we came in and asked to be seated, and the staff seemed very confused.(This was at about 2pm on a Friday, so not a weird time for lunch.) They seated us and then forgot about us(I think?) so we flagged down someone to take our order. She seemed rushed and weirded out that we were ordering food. Then someone came out from the kitchen twice to double-check what our order was. The food was delicious but they seemed confused enough by our presence that we kind of rushed to get out of there. But it took about twenty minutes after we were done eating for us to again flag someone down to take our payment. Again, the mac & cheese was amazing, and this probably won’t happen to you if you go there(I assume?) but it was really weird. Also I overheard the girl behind the counter tell a customer that«European food is really bad», which is a hilarious and nonsensical statement. But overall, thumbs up?

**BESTFRENCHONIONSOUP** If you love this soup, stop reading and just go straight to Cheese Louise. Not playing, not joking, it’s that good. I’ve tried many variations through the years and this is my favorite. First off, it’s not a «restaurant». It’s a cheese and more store with a small café area in the back. It’s very casual and has a few tables. So casual that you grab your own plastic cup on the table to pour your own water. Hubby and I came here mainly for that soup I’d been eyeballing on the Unilocal pics. It certainly didn’t disappoint. We ordered the panconi(ham, salami and pepperoni sandwich) and steak sammie. The panconi was über-salty and hard to enjoy. Each bite was followed with a big gulp of water. My suggestion would be to add more ham and accentuate the sandwich with fewer slices of salami and pepperoni where those cured meat don’t overwhelm the sandwich. The steak sammie was delicious. The bread was crusty and spread with some form of frommage. Not sure what kind it was and can’t tell if I really like it. I think I’d order that again just to make sure I was tasting it correctly or if I’ll acquire the taste. The service was friendly and laid-back but so laid-back the staff didn’t notice who was helping us. We started out with a waitress for drinks. Then the waiter took our food order 5 mins later. Then 10 minutes after that, the waitress asked if we were ready to order. Huh? So she waited 15 mins to take our order? There were 3 tables altogether so it wasn’t busy. So service is fine if you’re not in a rush or hungry. Lastly, another reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because their prices are extremely high for this area. The French onion soup was $ 9.50! The sandwiches were about $ 12.00 each and were not big at all. And the sandwiches do not come with any sides like french fries, chips or salad. So, you’re actually paying Seattle prices for less food BUT it is good food. Can’t say this will be on my regular food rotation but I’ll definitely be back for that soup.

I really didn’t have any time to really explore but I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a while. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the large assortment of wine and cheese. What? I like to eat and drink. Don’t read this all judgey. Anyway, we were immediately asked if we needed help and I told the dude I needed to leave in 5 seconds but hat I wanted a quarter pound of the cheese called Drunken Goat cause it sounded awesome. Not because I want to go around getting goats drunk and then force them to make bad decisions. But because this cheese was a goat cheese that was marinaded in wine! The guy working there rang us up super fast, gave us a couple tips and we were able to leave and enjoy the delicious cheese later today. It was super delicious!

Such a cozy little shop with a restaurant in the back. The staff is extraordinary, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and nice to talk to. The food was amazing. Some of the best cheese i’ve ever had and very reasonable prices. Lots of choices for drinks too. Can’t wait to go back and try some different cheeses.

Stopped into this spot after reading all the raves and reviews of how great the joint is. First to note that this spot really rings in the holiday spirit of Christmas! Its well decorated and real warm and cozy. It sure does and a feeling of nostalgia of this special time of year with the decorated lights in the parkway. Service: They had a Martinez wine tasting event and our server seemed slightly frazzled. We didn’t receive a new pitcher of iced water, nor did she know what the soup of the day was. However she was friendly and very apologetic. Food: I ordered the Steak sammie which comes on a toasted baguette with tri-tip and fresh arugula fixings. Really good sandwich! Thank you Katie who mentioned this sandwich. My wife ordered the French Onion soup and my oh my, quite possibly the best soup I’ve had in this area. It was full of flavor utilizing the Walla Walla sweet vadalia onions. Big chunks of onions with melted cheese and the au jus to to support the flavors! Highly recommended for soup lovers! Experience: It was overall a lovely experience. A great place to pair your cheese’s and wines which they have extensive selections of both. I love going to random restaurants dressed as a hobo to see if i would get a great dining experience and they did really well. Way to go guys! Now go show them some love since i know ill be back in the near future.

Love the no hassle Wi-Fi. The atmosphere is top notch. The wine selection was fun to choose from. I chose the Lou Bar Rou Red Blend from France. For dinner we had the magnificent 12 cheese mac and the panoni sandwich. We are staying at the Red Lion not too far up the road. We meet some friendly locals who came here for their first time as well. My Dad will like this place I’m sure as he’s a wine/cheese lover.
