I bought a boat there this past June. Bret Mumy was the sales rep. He did a great job of showing me the boat and taking me and my wife for a test ride on Gull Lake. Great to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a boat from him again down the road if he worked at a different marina. The problem was with everyone else that I had to deal with. When they delivered the boat the guy must have been just a college kid on break for the summer, he couldn’t tell me anything about the boat he was dropping in the water for me or even how to operate it. He had the wrong hitch for my trade in so I had to give him my trailer ball to get the boat out of my driveway. Get this, the boat was delivered without a fire extinguisher, it was not sea worthy. The mooring cover didn’t fit right, the furniture covers were not ready as promised. Multiple issues too numerous to list here were not taken care of before the boat was delivered. By the way it looked, there pre-delivery prep of the boat was a complete failure. I had them pick the boat back up, gave them a detailed list of the items that needed to be fixed. They brought it back two weeks later with only half of the issues listed taken care of. Stupid me, I was expecting a better product and service after spending over $ 50,000!

BUYERBEWARE!!! I was in the Gull Lake area stopped to look at their boats. I noticed a trailer they had for sale and asked about it. The salesman stated it was a used trailer they had advertised for some time and spoke with his manager regarding a sale price. I was quoted a price for me to «leave with the trailer». A few days later I called about the trailer, was told it was still for sale and the quoted price would still buy it. I drove over an hour back to purchase the trailer and upon arriving was told they no longer wanted to sell it. The«manager» tried to sell me other boats and junk trailers I had no interest in and finally reluctantly agreed to sell the trailer as originally stated. I sat down with a very frustrated salesman, paid him the agreed upon price in cash and proceeded to leave with the trailer. I was then told they had no registration so they would mail it to me. My request for a receipt was met with a sales agreement they had me sign, but no signature from them. At my insistence, the salesman took the agreement to the manager who put his initials on it. Since the wires were too short to connect the tail lights, I found the tail lights were not working once I got home and had to replace them. A few days later I did receive the registration for the boat, but was shocked to receive threatening calls stating I then owed them nearly $ 200 more for the registration. I have never purchased something, paid for and left with it and then get told additional money is owed! I have dealt with the Gull Lake Marine on the water and been treated well, but will never deal with the shady side located off the water again. Ethics and honesty are qualities lacked by this location.

Just took delivery of a new Malibu from them. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in, a good price on the new boat, and have been very professional. I have not experienced the typical«upsell» pressure from many dealers, and have been impressed with them thus far. Brett was my salesperson and Ryan the demo/delivery specialist.

Rented a Pontoon boat for a half day. It ended up raining so they pro-rated the fee. The people were very nice and very accommodating. Great experience!

Contacted them about a boat a while back. The guy I talked to, not mentioning his name, was incredibly rude. I can’t believe they have a guy like that interfacing with potential customers. He invented«facts» as he went along, completely insulting my intelligence. He was trying anything to get me to bite on the deal, which was no deal at all. They’ve had the boat in inventory for a couple years and will probably have it many more based on the way I was treated. He even hung up on me when I called him out on the carpet for bullshitting me. What kind of a salesman does that? What kind of a business lets a guy like that work their calls?
