Kelley’s Gone to the Dogs, Boarding and Grooming

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Kelley’s establishment! First off, let me say that I am incredibly picky when it comes to where I leave my fur babies. I have a 5 year old GSP and a 4 year old shepard/​chow mix. My GSP is very spoiled and hyper and my little girl mutt is very timid and skiddish. We are military and have lived all over the place. Due to the constant moving and need to travel home for holidays we have had to use many boarders in the past. I have walked out of places because they were dirty, too small, or they just didnt seem to care too much about anything but how they were getting paid. Okay, so that being said, why I LOVED Gone to the Dogs Boarding! We moved to Missouri from Virginia last week. We were unable to find a long term hotel that would accomidate us and the dogs at a reasonable price so I strted looking for boarders. Kelley’s place was recommended by a number that said they were no longer in buisness. Kelley was very kind when I called and when I told her we really didnt know what time we would arrive after driving halfway across the country she told me to call anytime, even if it was reaaly late and she would be available. I couldnt believe how accomidating this place was! It was New Years Day when we arrived and I realized we had forgot to get the dogs in for bordetella vaccinations before taking them to a boarder, again she said no problem and administered the needed vaccine at a very low price. Oh! Her prices are amazing!!! Only 15 bucks a day for each dog, thats like ten bucks cheaper than most places I looked at! We arrived into town after 11 pm, and as promised she had no problem taking the dogs that late. There had just been a bad storm and we were travleing with a large boat so she even met up with us away from the property so we wouldnt have to risk driving down a slippery road to get to her home. Throughout their stay with Kelley she answered my frequent «worried» calls and gave me plenty of updates via text. I have never had a dog boarder so willing to deal with my seperation anxiety. lol. When we finally found our house here I called the day prior and set up a pick up time, she even agreed to bathe and groom both dogs even though I requested it less than 24 hours before pick up. The storm and snow had cleared by the time I picked them up so I was able to see the property. WOW!!! They have really made a beautiful place for the dogs. The area where they slept was immaculate! I was surprised by how spotless it was. She even has the cutest wall mounted heater that looks like a fireplace to kep them warm. There was plenty of room in the sleeping areas for each dog. The outside had runs within a fenced area, so no chance of escape at all (I have a fence jumper) and plenty of room for running and playing. Both dogs were absolutely in love with Kelley, while we were talking and doing paperwork my dogs were happily jumping to her and kissing her. That tells me she obviously took wonderful care of them and treated them like her own. The dogs both had excellent care and smelled AMAZING from their grooming. Little bows on their heads and their nails nicely trimmed. They actually STILL smell amazing, 6 days later, I just told my fiancé I couldnt believe that they still smelled so clean and I should find out what she uses. lol. Wow, this is a super long review. If anyone actually finished this just know that its lenghty because I am THAT impressed with this establishment! I have found my dog boarder for while we are here without a doubt. Kelley went out of her way numerous times to accomidate our weird situation and her prices were just amazing for that quality of service! I am a huge fan and plan to tell everyone I meet while I am here of this amazing place!
