Rite Aid

I have been using this pharmacy for 10 years. Now I am going to change it. I was trying to get my insurance claim filled and the new pharmacist there was trying to avoid signing the form.
It took about 5 hours of my time, several lengthy phone calls, and several visits to the pharmacy. Shameful service!

Poor survive. Waiting since noon then round 7pm rolls around then tell me to drive to the other right aid on Lee to come to find out that they never sent over a prescription… Never been more pissed

Looks a lot better since its remodel just over a year (has it already been two years???) ago. There’s really no better drugstore nearby, except for maybe Walgreens. .. just across the street.
The Rite Aid pharmacy is my family’s go-​to for prescriptions — they once even fulfilled my prescription, despite the fact that I accidentally sent my prescription to the other store. Nice employees; I know almost all the employees at this point.

Having been living outside of the Rite Aid market area … it was nice to see one just down the street from me. I’ve always been a big fan of Rite Aid over let’s say … Walgreens and CVS. Why?
Well — I’m glad you asked —
— They always seem to have just what I need and their prices are good (read: fair and reasonable).
— Drive up window …
— Clean and not cluttered with all that As Seen On TV crap that other drug stores hit you with off the bat.
— An easy IN and OUT type of store … always parking up front or on the side … and lines move quickly (since most only have a few items — this should be standard).
I stopped in to this one the other day … need a few «supplies» and found just what I needed. I didn’t like that the better prices are better because you need to sign up for their rewards program … and although I will … I didn’t have time on this trip. Cashier was friendly and fast … so fast that I didn’t even know the transaction was completed until she handed me the receipt. Thanks :) !!
I had always shopped at Rite Aid when I lived in Michigan and like I said … I’ve always been a big fan … am glad to be back in a market area where they have a presence.

On the corner of Torbett & GW Way sits a Rite Aid AND Walgreens. Please explain to me why would this happen? Two drug stores right next door to each other. What’s the difference. I’ve been to both because they are down the street from me. They both have the same stuff, right?
With all that said, I do find myself coming here a little more often. I like the layout a little better. It’s not all right angles and rectangles. There’s one row which bisects the store down the middle, so you can get a good central survey.
This store also has a refrigerated section, and if you want beer or milk, they can hook you up. I also see that they have a drive-​up window for their pharmacy. I don’t think the Walgreens has that.
Ok, so this one might be a tad better.
