I’ll give it that rating, cause it was a flat out good pizza. My friends, family n I ordered the pointersaurus which by the time we got to it was cold but still was a good taster. I won’t do the single purchase thing again. Next time it’ll be a anti up, but it was still a great experience.

Decided to try pointers for a lazy Sunday dinner. Ordered the toasted ravioli, hot wings and a 12″ cheese pizza. Everything was a little mediocre. The toasted ravioli were all breading with little filling. The hot wings where tiny and not as crispy as I was expecting. Yes, not too high of standards of wings from a pizza place but still should be a little crispier. The pizza tasted like a pizza you would pick up from a grocery store. The price also seemed a little bit high for everything that we ordered and even though it was a Sunday night, the wait was over 40 minutes. Overall everything was just really underwhelming.

The t-raves are very good. The wings we’re horribly over cooked and under sauced. Ended up just trashing the wings. They deliver pretty quick though.

Delicious, not to mention they will leave pizza on your porch so it’s hot and ready for you whenever you stumble home from the bar. Oh and the garlic cheese bread is a must.

I mean for a super late night pizza place it isn’t all bad, but simultaneously it isnt all that. The pizza is always pretty greasy and heavy, but it tastes alright. Not the best place for pizza in st louis, but NOT the worst. 2.5÷5 would probably eat again if im zonked enough at 2 in the morning. FYI the pointasarious is ridiculous.

I find the quality of this pizza inconsistent. The first time I ordered from here, I got the veggie and loved it. The next time, I got the veggie and the cheese was not evenly distributed nor were the sparse toppings. They also didn’t honor my student discount even though I brought my student ID… Apparently you have to mention it on the phone. Do yourself a favor and order from Domino’s or Pizza Hut. It’s cheaper and you won’t sacrifice the taste.

Hot fast and delicious in Richmond Heights!!! Well that would be Pointer’s Pizza. Hamburger Pizza: 3.5÷5… the dough is slightly better than the average chain’s dough, but what makes the pizza is the fresh ingredients especially the CHEESE… I’m like Wow! Each time I eat one… If the crust was a little better, I could give them a 4.5÷5 But overall with fast service, great prices slight above average on the amount of toppings, good delicious pizza and pleasant staff I would give it : 4⁄5 So next time you’re in Richmond Heights, Point your stomach and taste buds to Pointer’s Pizza

I really found this pizza to be great and the price seriously cannot be beat. If you have a party or a lot of people to feed, you need to come to Pointer’s pizza. The guys here are all really friendly and will get your order out pretty quickly. The only down side is that the buffalo wings are not great BUT, keep in mind that I say that as a New Yorker who has experienced wings unlike anything you can find in the St. Louis area. I am always hoping to find great buffalo wings.

I ordered a specialty pizza and the garlic cheese bread. Pizza was top notch… the cheese breed… ehhh it was alright. Its not my first choice for pizza but a good late night option. Will I be back? Yes… not soon but yes.

Late night deliveries(especially to a hotel room), inexpensive prices, and delicious food at that! Ordered from them last Friday and ended up getting a pepperoni pizza, a vegetarian sub sandwich(so tasty and soft and warm), a turtle cheesecake, toasted ravioli(first time trying it — good!), and two Lipton iced teas. Took a tiny bit longer than expected in receiving out order, but using the Unilocal system was relatively easy and the staff was very friendly! Thanks!

Well it arrived hot and quickly which bumped it up to 2 stars! The is quite possibly the worst tasting pizza I’ve EVER had. Crust that tastes like cardboard. Bitter sour sauce. The«hamburger» tasted and looked like rat poop. Not that I know what rat poop tastes like but I can guess. This was just really bad!

You can order delivery from here on Unilocal.I heard its a very college kids kinda pizza and sandwhich joint after I placed my order. Was happy with the pizza we got and how quickly it was delivered. Will avoid the other items I have heard negative things about but this place was good for what we needed!

This is a mixed bag. I ordered a 16″(large) 3 topping pizza thru Unilocal, and was quoted a pick-up time of ~45 minutes later. Around ~40 minutes later, right when I was a block away trying to find parking, I got a call from them. The guy was wondering where I was, I told him right next door. He told me the pizza had been ready for almost half an hour. Strange, according to Unilocal I still had 5 minutes. Pizza here is a different category from that of PIzza Hut, Dominoes, Papa Johns„ Jet’s… It’s simple. It’s not cheap, not expensive. Was it worth $ 19.31? On most days, probably not. I would consider this joint to be an option only when other places are closed. This place has a redeeming quality though: It’s open till 2AM, the latest out of any pizza place I’ve been to in STL. Alas, my college days have recently come to an end and I’m finally ready to close the book on late night pizza places, such as this one.

I’m a pizza snob. I like a good pie when I find one. This place didn’t live up to the 4 star reviews I read. It’s just okay. PROS 1. Quick 2. Convenient 3. Price 4. They make a huge pie that could feed an army. CONS 1. It’s just mediocre. I would get it again, but I’m not going to run out and it be my first choice. I still haven’t found the pizza that floors me.

Ordered for delivery. XL Sasuage, Green Pepper, Onion. The toppings were VERYCHEAP. Cheap to be exact — 2 pieces of sasuage on each piece of pizza. Hardly any cheese, sauce or any of the other toppings we ordered. I WOULDNOT recommend this pizza joint. You are better off going to Lite Cezars and getting their deep dish. Poor quality, cheap toppings. I guess if you pay 20 bucks for a pizza, you get what you pay for — ABSOLUTECRAP!

We(with help of friends) have consumed, over the years, no fewer than 30 Pointers’ Pizzas, including the monsterous Pointersaurus. They are one of the few late night food options in our neighborhood and lucky for us the pizzas are always tasty and hot and the deliveries fast. These are not gourmet pizzas and I definitely wouldn’t call them the best pizzas in St. Louis. But if you want fresh, no-frills pies that won’t break your wallet, from friendly local folks(and likely late at night), Pointer’s it is.

I absolutely refuse to eat Domino’s, and it was late at night, so Pointer’s was the place. My favorite thing from Pointers is the Pointersaurus, because the idea of that much pizza is exciting, but I got a 16″(which I think is the largest before the ‘saurus) and ate it for days(much more economical!) They offer regular crust, thin crust, and thick crust, which is a good variety for a group of friends that all want different things. You can also choose red sauce, white sauce or olive oil. I got regular crust with cheese, mushrooms and green peppers. It was good fresh, but this pizza is a killer leftover meal! I put some minced garlic and heated it in the toaster oven for a few min with some olive oil and oregano and it was really awesome! It was not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t meant to be. Placed in the same tier as other delivery pizzas(Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Papa Johns), I think local favorite Pointer’s is a winner.

Pointer’s is really good. I used the order online tool to purchase a 14-inch pepperoni, pineapple, and meatball pizza. It was ready when and I got there, with no waiting, and still hot even though it took me about 25 minutes to get to the store. The cheese is high quality, the sauce is good, and the meatballs were also pretty great. They may have been a little too heavy on the spices for my tastes, but still darn good. The only thing I didn’t like was the thickness of the«regular» crust. It was super thin for my taste, and could not support the cheese or the toppings. The slices were cut long and thin, which I liked, but the toppings slipped right off the lower half of almost every piece. Next time I will ask them to make it a little thicker. Overall, really good though! Great value with the coupons on their site

The pizza is okay. It would have been better if it were warm. I am staying in a local hotel and ordered my pizza online. In the order process I put that I am sitting in the bar near the front desk. Unfortunately, the information is not transferred to the delivery person. He stood at the desk for 20 minutes having the desk call my room that I was not in. Eventually somebody had the great thought to call the bar… 10 feet away and ask if I was there. I tipped him 25% anyway.

This is definitely a great choice when you want Pizza catered for a large group. I’m normally not a huge cheese pizza person(absolutely never order it), but I have really enjoyed the cheese pizza from here. The delivery can take a while, especially if you order during a baseball game or when Wash U and SLU have their final exams, the delivery might take quite a while longer. However, most of the time I’ve depended on them, it hasn’t been more than 30 – 45 minute wait. It’s definitely a great alternative to Domino’s or Papa John’s. In fact, I would definitely prefer it any day to the any of these other chains. Another thing I might recommend for a unique experience would be to get a Pointasaurus Pizza. The diameter is 28 inches and is extremely huge. It’s great for catering something like a birthday party and will floor anyone who hasn’t seen it before. It’s simply ginormous. Definitely a great place when you want some pizza, and I would highly recommend choosing Pointers over any of the nearby chains.

After a late night on the town with my friends, we came back to a friend’s apartment and were starving. Too lazy to cook anything, we decided to order pizza! We called 3 different places… all closed(it was ~1:45am)! I realize this is late… but still you’d expect at least to have a couple delivery options available 24⁄7 in STL. Anyways, we found Pointer’s thru Unilocal and decided to give it a try… and they were open and willing to delivery! During the phone call, I asked«Do you have any specials?», the worker promptly said«We’re open, isn’t that special enough?» GOODPOINT! :) We ended up ordering a meat lovers pizza. It was delivered in 20 minutes and it was delicious! Tons of meat toppings and just the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Next time I have the late night munchies, I’ll be giving Pointer’s a call. :)

Best. Pizza. Ever. I used to live right down the road from this place but sadly I no longer live near them. I do order from them as often as I can though, and it is still the best! My favs: Red sauce, pepperoni, meatballs, mushroom, black olives, tomatoes and red pepper Alfredo sauce, crab meat, shrimp, basil and garlic

This pizza and garlic cheesy bread helped me get over a massive hangover after a long night out. The delivery man was very nice, entertaining, and best of all… very fast! I prefer a sauce that is not as sweet, but I still really enjoyed the pizza. Also, I agree with a few of the other reviews that the pizza can get a little soggy with too many veggies… I ordered a 12″ thin crust deluxe and it was a bit soggy. It reheats great on the stove in a skillet when the crust gets crispy though. I am a sucker for garlic cheese bread when I am hungover and absolutely loved pointers cheese bread… it’s similar to IMOS.

Will I ever be able to take the Pointersaurus challenge and devour a 28″, 10 lb. pizza in one hour with a dining partner? Hell, NO! We had leftovers for the next days lunch from our 12″ Deluxe pizza. However, I have ordered the Pointersaurus for large groups and celebrations at work and it has always been well received. I would be a beached whale if I ate half or even a fourth of one of those monsters. It was Wednesday night and neither of us had the energy to cook. I had an hair appointment at Mitchell James at 6PM., so I came up with the brilliant idea to have Pointers Pizza as a treat. It had been awhile since I enjoyed one of their pies and the BF had never experienced one. When I was finished getting the hairs trimmed back to their appropriate length, I called Pointers for a pick-up order. I ordered a 12 piece Hot Chicken Wings and a 12″ Deluxe Pizza. All of their crust is hand-tossed and your can choose; thin, regular or thick. We went with regular which is a happy place between thin and thick. It provides with just enough dough, so there is a balance between it and all your toppings. Our Deluxe was topped with read sauce, which had a sweet taste to me. They then added; pepperoni, onion, green pepper, sausage, mushrooms and cheese that was not provel. The toppings were plentiful and were diced in large bite size pieces. It was a nice change from the delivery places near our home. The HOT Chicken Wings, were not HOT, to be honest I think they gave us regular wings. They did offer us either Ranch or Blue Cheese for dipping sauce and I choose Blue Cheese. However, the wings were flavorful enough that neither of us dipped our wings, the flavor was strong enough to stand alone, it just did not have the«fire» you’d expect from a HOT wing. The staff was friendly and personable on the phone and when I arrived to pick up our order. We miss being in their delivery area by a half a mile or so, but being close doesn’t cut it in pizza delivery. No need to worry, I can always pick us up some Pointers after an amazing haircut.
