I have purchased computers and equipment from Computer Professor during the past couple of years. They are clearly not ;Geek Squad: or a high gloss market group. I found them to be refreshingly helpful and honest. My first visit was for a clean up and repair after a virus attack that I thought was un repairable. There was a minimum charge but the finished product was excellent and I learned alot about what had occured. It did take them one day longer that originally planned but I was very satisfied. I have refered a friend to them that was having trouble with Best Buy, they did a great job to repair and added memory to that computer. I have since bought another lap top and a printer from them. The prices are competitive and the service is excellent.

****RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LIARS, CON-ARTISTALERT**** I had a friend who didn’t know too much about computers… being that I’m new in the neighborhood I recommended him here being that the store looks pretty professional compared to all the Cell phone/computer repair stores I’ve seen thus far… Needless to say, my pal went back to the store to pick up his computer and after dishing out over $ 300 in repairs, I asked him to come by my house so I could see what was done. He was for new parts… I found all original parts still installed.(if you have a windows computer which allows easy access mark the hardware with a black or blue felt tip marker very obscurely which is what my pal did. Nothing was replaced and the issues came back after 1 hour of use. Had to fight to get money back which the dude at the counter… I’m sure you’ve all seen this jerk… Tall jewish guy wearing the yamaka tried to intimidate us with his fake five and dime computer knowledge. I work with computers everyday of my life and know them inside and out. Finally got his money back when threatened with a lawsuit. SECONDVISITJUSTTOTESTTHISDUDE Walked in after a few months of this incident and the dude had no idea who the hell I was. I was searching for Ram for my iMac mid 2011 model. I asked the dude if he carried any Ram DDR31333208.pin. He was on the phone and reluctantly answered«Hold on» he said in an annoyed tone. Yeah, I carry them. Well, I would like to purchase two 4gb DDR31333208 pin… please. His response… «Well, I carry them but I cant promise you that they will work for your particular IMAC. Why don’t you bring it in and I’ll take a look for you… My response… Oh… really and how much will that cost me… His response $ 60 non refundable for just looking at it… then $ 50 for each memory stick… holy crapper! It takes 5mins to install the memory and you can purchase the dual pack(meaning 2 memory sticks) for $ 39.00 on newegg or amazon or ebay etc etc. Avoid this scammer… He apparently has so much money he can shun business away and is only interested in how many people he can rip off. Pathetic to say the least!

This place is a total nightmare and con-shop, and I would avoid it at all costs. If any of you are used to the professionalism, integrity and honesty of an Apple Store or Tech Serve, you’re in for a rude awakening with these con artists. I do NOT like the way these people«do business». In fact, they are totally about GIVINGYOUTHEBUSINESS and soaking you for whatever they can get away with, not giving you complete information about their policies, and claiming to have done work that they didn’t really do. I was put through 8 days of waiting for my printer to get fixed– it was a basic mechanical problem which was not rocket science, but they made it seem like it was. After paying up front a $ 60 diagnostic cost(which I was told would go towards the cost of the repair) I called the next day, and they said it would then cost ANOTHER $ 40 to fix, that each piece of equipment had«a different minimum repair charge” — something which was never told to me up front. They proceeded to jerk me around for eight days, claiming they had fixed the problem. After going back there two times to witness that the problem had not been diagnosed properly or fixed, I demanded a refund on the spot and they reluctantly gave it to me.
