I moved into the area several months ago and asked for recommendations for a pediatrician for my 8 month old daughter. I was referred here and told that Dr. Seibert was the man to see. Even though it was a 45 minute drive, I read many good things, so decided it was worth the drive. When I scheduled her 9 month appointment, I could only get in with a nurse practitioner, which was ok, it was last minute because of the move. I scheduled her 1 year almost 4 months in advance. First off, despite being the first appointment after lunch, we still waited over 30 minutes to see the np. One of the routine questions I’ve always been asked in a well child was asking about feeding. I explained we had some complications with nursing from a previous tongue tie revision and asked if there were any ents in the area that were familiar with the procedure that she would recommend. I told her, I didn’t need a referral as my insurance didn’t require one, she gave me a name. The entire conversation was less than 5 minutes. I got charged a medical visit charge on top of our well baby and despite talking with both the office manager and billing, no one is willing to do anything about it. Rachel, the nurse that handles calls when you call in asking for advice and Dr. Webb along with his nurse Tangi are the only reason they got 3 stars. My daughter had a uti in June and Rachel was a rock star dealing with all my questions and concerns as we fought crazy high fevers for days. Dr. Webb and his staff were great when we saw them as she got sick on a day Dr. Seibert wasn’t in the office. Fast forward a month and my daughter had another issue. I called, Rachel was awesome, we got in same day with another nurse practitioner. On my way, the office called… They needed to reschedule the 1 year because he wouldn’t be available. Ok, that’s not bad, 3 weeks notice, but still an inconvenience because of the time change, the original time being perfect with her nap schedule. I get to the office for our appointment and once again, 45 minutes before we actually saw the provider we were there to see. Today, Monday 8⁄10 when her appointment is on Friday, I get another call — we need to reschedule again. I’d already worked out my work schedule to accommodate her appointment. I have given up on Dr. Seibert at this point. I rescheduled with Dr. Webb and will be finding another pediatric practice after her one year appointment. I can deal with rescheduling, but not the week of when parents would already adjusted their work schedule for it. But when we’ve got persistently late providers(but heaven forbid I’m late) combined with rescheduling not one but twice for the same appointment? No thank you! Edit 8⁄11: I’m not sure if it was the review or the fact that I expressed my displeasure when I was called last night, but Dr. Seibert called himself this afternoon apologized and explained the reasoning behind the reschedule. He listened to my other concerns and agreed to look into the charge issue and get that resolved. I did at the end agree to reschedule with him and will give the office one more chance at that appointment. I will say I was impressed that he took the time to call and he was pleasant, despite my obvious irritation with the past situations.

I had made a review before that does not reflect how truly amazing Dr. Seibert really is. After talking with who I needed to and his office seeing how much I needed some paperwork done for Autism they helped me get what I needed to in a way better time frame. I do apologize for saying anything negative before. Dr. Seibert may have many patients but when he sees his patients he does take his time to make sure your child is all taken care of before you leave his office. I have 3 boys that see Dr. Seibert and he has done exceptionally awesome with all 3. Great pediatrician, very clean pediatrics office and very friendly staff.
