Pretty good. Nothing super special. But great on a hot Georgia night. The selection is good. It is a local business, and is often at fairs held at JF Gregory.

Very cute, family shop. I tried an M&M cookie cone which was amazing. Employees were super friendly and ice cream was yummy. Apparently they show free movies outside on the weekends, too. Cute, hidden gem!

I’m so happy we came here on our new years trip visit. After shopping downtown Savannah, we attempted to go to Leopold’s and the line was like out the door again… we’ve had it and its really good but with 2 littles its just not practical to stand in line for an hour. oh yeah and it was hot out. So my gorgeous husband took me and the kids here instead, and wow, they had a train that runs through the whole place and a little corner with toys and kid’s table and everything. What an amazing idea to have a kid-friendly ice cream parlor… who goes to get ice cream besides kids and people with kids? Maybe once in a while(non prediabetic adults)?? But not like kids frequency… I thought it was a great idea. So much so that I was surprised I hadn’t seen it before and wouldn’t even have had to like the ice cream to keep bringing them every time if we lived by this place. And no crazy lines. The owner gave my 2 year old a free kids cone, which was great because he dropped it on the floor within 5 minutes and claimed he was done. And btw the ice cream here is really really super delicious. It was hard to choose a flavor bc they had so many that looked good!!! I will be bringing them back every time we come here.

We were going back home(Columbia SC) from Tampa and wanted to see this icecream place based on the crazy reviews on Unilocal(all 5-stars). The expectations were quite high and I am quite picky — but this place is quite satisfactory. The chocolate and coffee-almond(not good at exact names) were both delicious, and the waffle cone was great. I wish its location was a little bit better(closer to I-95 or Savannah), but still — if you are on I-95 around Savannah and want to stop for an icecream, this is the place to go.

Can’t really say anything except nice things about this place. Extremely friendly service, reasonable prices, an impressive selection of ice cream, and it is of good quality. It is probably about a half hour drive outside of downtown Savannah, so it is much less congested than Leopold’s. Don’t get me wrong, I like Leopold’s quite a bit(I gave it a 5 star review after all), but you are insane if you stand in line for god knows how long to eat it in the sweltering Savannah heat. It’s ice cream not heroin, folks. I know there are a lot of out of towners who want to say they went to Leopold’s, but cmon. My suggestion: take the 30 minute drive out here and enjoy your ice cream in peace.

Move aside Leopold’s!!! Every time my husband and I visit, we try a different flavor and we have yet to be disappointed! Their portions are generous for their pricing! They even have dog-sized ice cream cups and gave us a scoop to take home to our puppy! The Ice Cream Spot has got the best ice cream in Richmond Hill!

What a gem! We tried this place for the first time last weekend and there was something that tasted amazing for everyone in the family. My mother in law enjoyed the gelato, my son, the chocolate lover, was in paradise and my husband and I both had the sea turtle. The coffee chocolate almond was my favorite. We are planning our return visit as we all agree that it’s certainly worth the hike.

I never use this phrase but«totes adorbs» is needed in this case. Such a cute, 1950s inspired ice cream parlor. Tons to chose from. Kids play area! Indoor and outdoor seating. It’s awesome.

Best ice cream place in Richmond Hill. They have a kids corner that has some toys and lots of chalk. Out kids love it. Not to mention the train track that the kids can turn on themselves. Wonderful place to go!

We were missing the ice cream from up in Maine and when we found this little hidden gem we were so excited. Their black raspberry is so great and the salted candy caramel. We typically stick to the same ones but man are these good. And they always give your lil one(under 2 yrs old) a free mini-cone with any flavor of ice cream. Love this place! Oh and did I mention it has 2 trains that circle the perimeter of the store up at the ceiling. Friday and Saturday night they project kid movies on the side of the building as well.

Yum! My parents brought me here for a Savannah treat after a long day of being in the sun. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is delicious, what more can you ask for? If the weather is nice, they also feature movies on the side of the building. What a lovely local shop!

We stopped by their mobile stand at the JF Gregory Fireworks display on the 4th of July. The deer tracks ice cream was excellent an the amount they gave in a single scoop was fantastic for the price. I recommend this to anyone with young children as their staff is very friendly! Go here for dessert if you are in or are passing by Richmond Hill.

Quite possibly the best ice cream I have ever had. I am from out of town but am lucky enough to get down to Savannah a few times a year. I have been to Leopolds downtown but would give the sea turtle ice cream in the pretzel cone two thumbs up and the crown over everything I have ever had.

Great ice cream but the thing I love the most, the owner is awesome! You can really tell he loves what he is doing. And you can’t beat four ice cream cones for $ 8! The Friday night movies are such a cool touch. I’m sitting here on ‘aunt duty’ with my nieces and nephew while we freeze our bums off, but there is no where we would rather be! I highly recommend stopping at this shop, especially on Friday evenings for the movies. Just maybe choose a night when it’s warmer than 35 degrees!

Great selection, friendly staff, classic ice cream parlor design, model trains, children’s area, and outdoor movie nights on the weekends, what more can you ask for in an Ice Cream shop? Ice Cream stop has got all the elements of a great, family oriented, and timeless place for the family to enjoy some dessert. Nested behind Publix, the Ice Cream Stop can be easily missed, but when you do find it, is surely a hidden-gem!
