This is a chain store, but I usually go here for basic parts, oil, cleaning supplies etc. they have a good supply and decent prices. Today I had to replace an old battery in one of my cars that had a bad cell. This is not something I am good at– especially when it’s not the car I’m used to working on. This is a finicky old car and as soon as AAA came out and got it started I was convinced it would shut off again.
I called Advance and they were nice as could be– gave me a price and said they’d be looking for me. As soon as I got there, a very nice gentleman rang up my battery and came out and put it in. The car started right up, and I was out in 15 minutes. You can’t beat that.
This is the location I always go to– I’ve been in a couple others just because I was in the area, but this one is my main choice. They don’t bug you when you go in but they are really polite and helpful if you need something.
