Nobody but nobody gives a deep tissue massage like Brandi. I’ve been a client for years. I would highly recommend!

We were only in town for the 3 days before Thanksgiving, and of the places near our hotel in downtown Richmond, this place was one of the few that had openings. I had a prenatal massage with Kate and my boyfriend had a deep tissue massage with Brandi. Both practitioners were very professional and considerate, and took a few minutes to sit down with us beforehand to find out what exactly we were looking for. In the past I’ve found female masseuses to be too gentle. I asked for «firm» pressure and it was perfect. We both were 100% satisfied with our massages and feel like we got a great value.

A small, cozy and well run facility in the heart of Richmond’s historic Fan district. Top notch therapy options, with a membership plan that is really a great deal. I get weekly massages. Keeps me stress free and feeling good. My therapist maintains the highest levels of professionalism and is well educated in many genres of healing.
Another plus: you can schedule sessions ONLINE. This is super convenient. Such a time saver! I highly recommend any of the therapists. Oh, and its AFFORDABLE. It really is!

i found this place on Unilocal deals and i had a great experience! i got a SPORTS massage with brandi. she was actually waiting for me outside of the building to walk me up which was nice. i guess on the weekends the building is locked.
she did an excellent job with aligning my muscles and took the time to listen to what i was trying to get from the massage. for two hours, i thought this was a great deal!
they also took time to show and demonstrate stretches that would help me outside of the massage studio. everyone was very helpful
the rooms are bit on the smaller side so its not easy to put your stuff down, just beware of that. they might need to work on expanding the rooms at a later time.
i might like to try some of the other types of massages they offer, but i had no issues whatsoever

I bought a groupon for a massage. I made an appointment with Taylor and I have to say it was probably THE best massage I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to schedule another appointment with her!

I purchased a GroupOn because of their great reviews on different sites… only to find out they bribe the customers who are pleased after the appointment to «write a good review on one of the following 16 sites, print it out and we’ll give you 30% off your next spa service. 16 website = 16 coupons!»
Aside from that, the owner was rude on the phone and corrected me several times and treated me like a second-​hand citizen as soon as I told her I had a GroupOn.

I purchased two Groupons for a 60-​minute massage for my husband and I. Scheduling the appointment for the couples massage was frustrating, as no one answers the phone. They do return your call, but on their convenience (and your inconvenience). When I finally did get a hold of someone, she was a bit rude and never mentioned the $ 20 fee for reserving the Couples Room (which isn’t mentioned over the phone, before you start, online or in the Groupon).
As far as the massage itself, it felt good but I’ve had better. Like the other person said, the therapists didn’t really focus on what we said our problem spots were. They did a bit of everything and then we were finished. It was moderately relaxing, but Im glad iI didnt pay full price for the service.

My husband and i were spending the weekend in richmond on vacation, so i thought a massage would be a great idea and looked to my trusty groupon and living social deals to recommend something. i came across this deal and spoke with the owner a few times before purchasing 2 deals for us. i appreciated the fact that the owner was so kind and available to clients. and although we purchased 2 separate deals for each of us, they did a couples massage at no extra cost. talk about a bonus!!! the only thing i would have liked is a bit more focus on my back, but otherwise, i really liked the amount of pressure used. my husband also loved his massage. afterwards, they gave us bottles of water to drink to get the toxins out and told us about a great local coffeeshop (lamplighter) down the street to get some chai :)

I had purchased a group for affordable spa services a while ago and saw Rob on the day of appointment. Generally I felt like the massage was okay, but it wasn’t the most incredible massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve gotten some awesome and affordable massages in Richmond). There were some moments where I was just like okay… when we began I clearly said neck and shoulders were my main focus… why have you been rubbing my arm for what feels like 15 minutes? I partially blame myself for not speaking up more during the massage, but I think I thought it would just get better and that didn’t happen. I’m not sure what was happening, perhaps it was an off day.

Easily the WORST massage experience I have ever had. If you do decide to use them, TRIPLE confirm who your appointment is with. I called and spoke with Brandi. Requested Brandi. Confirmed it. Got there and had some guy.
The room was cramped and there were no hangers for my clothes, just a hook on the back of the door, which is fine if I had worn jeans, but I wore business clothing. The room was frigid, due to the window ac unit inches from the massage table. To make up for it there was some heavy blanket to cover me with. Ick. It kept sliding around and was way too heavy to have folded back on me. It wasn’t even really a blanket but seemed like a faux fur throw. Here’s a suggestion– turn off the ac and ditch the rug.
The massage itself wasn’t anything special, one of the typical Richmond Academy of Massage massages. The therapist did not seem to be able to adjust his «regular» massage for the problem areas I requested attention for.
Seriously, unless you got a Groupon for free, spend your money and time somewhere else.

Very unprofessional, scheduled an appt and no one showed up at the office. Very rude when i tried to reschedule, lucky that I had a groupon with them and it was easy to cancel. Don’t waste your time here, their are many other places in Richmond with the same services.

The facility was clean, the massage was good. After it was over, Brandi showed me some stretches that could loosen me up and help with back pain. Overall, I was impressed.
