I only let Ly do my nails and Linda my pedicure! It is always clean and everyone is so friendly! I will not go anywhere else!

Came to this place for «nail dipping» or «SNS». Very poorly done. All of my nails had random dents/​chips in it. The topcoat started chipping off the very next day. The color was different than the one I picked. There were 2 unhappy customers while I was there (I should’ve walked out when I heard them complaining). I literally went and got them redone in Sugar Land 4 days later. Needless to say, I’m never going back there again. Complete waste of time and money.

Not happy with the tech the last time I was there. She cut my toe nail so low it hurt and she kept pushing it and telling me «see? It’s not bleeding»…did not apologize and instead muttered in Vietnamese under her breath probably not realizing I understood… will never go back.

My friend and I came here to get our nails done before my wedding. We both got a classic pedicure and acrylic nails done. They sat us within about 5 minutes of being there but then we sat with our feet soaking for 30 minutes before they were even touched. My friends were started before mine so when she was done she went and got the acrylic nails on. After I was done I waited for quite awhile before a nail tech did my nails. No pushing the cuticle back, no arm/​hand massage done… nothing. My friend had to wait a full hour after hers were done for mine to be done. They also did have the color I picked for the acrylic either. Needless to say we were there for 3 HOURS for a pedicure and acrylic nails!!! That was my first time and last time going there. I will stick with my regular place.

Less than a week later, my nails are chipped. Both my feet and my powder dipped nails. Updating review to reflect only 1 star.

The woman at the front was awful. She was rude to everybody in the place including the employees. She seriously lacked people skills and to be honest, she made my experience awful. The lady that did my nails was very nice and did a great job but the lady that worked in the front ruined it for me.

I came in on a Friday morning. I had a Shellac manicure done and and eyebrow wax. Lisa greeted us right away and accommodated me and my 2 sisters. We were in and out in about an hour all with flawless nails! We love coming here because they are so friendly and affordable. I have been coming here for a couple of months already and have never had bad service. I will always recommend this place to my friends.

Love love Love Andy at AMC! He does an AMAZING Job every time! I love how long my Shellac lasts when he does my nails. He’s so friendly and personable. I look forward to having my manicures with him every 3 weeks! I would highly recommend this place! It’s very clean and the owner is a gem! She always remembers you and goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

Do not go to this salon ever. Went there today and was completely rushed through my service and paid 40 dollars for a half done refill. Ever since this place switched management, it has basically gone downhill. The workers are always coming up with random prices every time I go. Sometimes its one price, the next time its another. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I have used AMC for a few years, including 2 different managers. My last experience started on Friday so I’d have a fresh mani-​pedi for my vacation on Monday.
7/​18, Friday: Shellac Mani and shellac pedi: $ 90 plus $ 10 tip.
7/​19, Saturday: The «long-​lasting» shellac on my big toenail cracked and broke the nail in the process. My thumbnail wasn’t covered correctly and was peeling.
7/​20, Sunday: I went back and explained the issues. The same technician took off the shellac and half of my existing nail and put a tip on it. She simply painted over my thumb. They charged me an extra 5 bucks because my I had broken my toenail. Now we’re up to $ 105!
7/​22, Tuesday: I’m in Michigan and the repair job on my toe has lifted off the nailbed and is so loose I expect it will crack any second now. The ‘repaired” thumb paint over is peeling off the original shellac layers. Of course, now I’m 1800 miles away with a worthless set of nails! This was the mani-​Pedi from Hell.

I walked in and was told to sit and wait. Meanwhile, three staff members were sitting in massage chairs. The front desk person didn’t acknowledge me until I asked, 10 minutes later, how long of a wait it would be. As I was getting my manicure, three staff members hovered over me chatting with my manicurist. It was not a relaxing experience by any means. None of the other customers were treated as rudely. Guess I looked poor and insignificant. Well here’s some significance, AMC Nails: you just got yourself a scathing Unilocal review! Worst nail salon EVER!!!

I have gone here several times over the time period they have been open and my experience has always been the same. They do a decent job, but the prices are too much for what you are getting. Before the ownership change, they were a lot more attentive to what you needed, but they tried to charge me for things I didn’t ask for. After the ownership change, I never had the issues I had before, but they just wanted to get me in and out. There are better places around with better prices who will actually take the time to do a good job.

I’ve been twice for a shellac manicure and pedicure. I thought the pedicure prices were a little high so was waiting for an exceptional experience. I went with three friends and we were offered wine which of course is a nice touch. We were done with a manicure and pedicure in 50 minutes. At first I was really impressed, that’s quick the fastest I’ve gotten out of a nail salon ever! But, the quality was missing. They didn’t spend a lot of time at all on the pedicure.
The next time we all went back it was quick as well. Done with both in under a hour. I went home and noticed my nail had been broken and they didn’t fix it so I had to clip it and file it down. The polish wasn’t even at all. My friend got home and her nail had broken also.
We won’t be returning because it seems to be hit or miss and too quick not enough quality. The receptionist is extremely nice and helpful though– only reason for two stars and not one.

I tried this location at a friends request. We where greeted with a smile and had great service. BUT I had made the reservations under my name and not my friends, who is the regular. I found out that meant, «you get the new girl» who apparently is not familiar with mani/​pedi quite yet…
My french mani was over charged, and I have clear polish all over my cuticles! They claimed the shellac was going to be $ 25, cheaper than the place I go, but they dont do anything but paint your nails, no manicure at all.
I was very disappointed with the $ 80 mani/​pedi I got and will go to Model nail or Infinity from now on. No amount of ‘nice-​ness’ will be worth a crappy $ 80 manicure/​pedicure

Went for a (much needed) pedicure pampering day with my mom. This establishment was recommended by a friend of hers .
The salon was beautiful! Awesome decorations! Friendly staff. Yes, the up sell thing happens the second you walk in and tell them what you want… Not the best thing, but we get this at all salons! Annnnnd, I’m glad they talked us into the hot rock, paraffin wax pedi! It was AWESOME!
The pedicure chairs were new and Seriously did their job. (For real, i felt like i had gotten a real massage at the end of it), the massage i got from the tech, with the pedi, i was nice too! I would go here every week if i could! But, I live in Austin. Ces’t La Vie.
*i cant speak to the nail polish selection, as mom and i brought our own.
Stats: the place looked great, the staff was friendly, they did an amazing job of massaging and beautifying my hooves. I would go back again and again.
