Tucked in a strip mall off of Iron Bridge in the third Arco Iris Latin grocery. Their footprint is relatively small, the entry a bit odd, but it is packed with grocery options. They have cheeses mostly from Central America, many regional drinks, and a small produce section with great sweet and green plantains and much more. Additionally, they have a small selection of latin pastries, including a few items from La Sabrosita, including their bread pudding, which I love. The clientele is largely hispanic, but they are pleasant to everyone, including a person who’s Spanish requires more practice. It is reasonably close to where I live, so I go here rather often and fortunately it has largely negated my need to shop elsewhere for those special latin items. There are a growing number of latin markets in the Richmond area. Many reasonably stocked. As such, if you live in the area and want to capture the latin experience, this is a good place to go. If not, you can select from a number of other good markets, one of which may be in the area in which you live.
