Baskin-Robbins

I’m an ice cream purist, which is why I prefer simple Baskin Robbins to fanciful Cold Stone Creamery. Baskin Robbins is guarantee to provide flavorful scoops of ice cream in flavors reminiscent of nights I spent with my grandma eating ice cream on her bed while watching Saturday Night Live. There are many of the traditional flavors (e.g., vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan) but there are also more daring flavors (Lunar Cheesecake, Icing on the Cake) to whet one’s palette. The associates are always friendly and ready to serve. I particularly like this location since it’s near Pony Pasture and an array of beautiful homes along River Road, though the parking lot is kinda narrow and can get tight on hot summer evenings when everyone has the same idea to cool off with ice cream. Baskin Robbins suits me just fine!

Good, nothing special, but always nice to stop in for something quick and tasty after work. I like seeing the same people there whenever I go, it gives it sort of a homey feel.
