They used to run out of a small cart in front of the market and I’m so glad that they finally opened up the restaurant! The restaurant is located behind the market and the inside is a very simple and spacious dining area. –Food– This place is as authentic as it gets! They offer a wide range of menu items from soups to tacos. The menu has Spanish and English descriptions of every item that they offer and is pretty easy to navigate. There is also a picture of each menu item on the menu. Tacos are my go-to items and are $ 1.99 each. They offer asada, al pastor pollo, and lengua. All are delicious and I recommend the lengua(beef tongue) for those who have never tried it before. The whole fried tilapia was also very good here. It was a little tricky to eat but the skin was crispy and the meat was moist – we gobbled it up! They have a stand with an assortment of their fresh made pico de gallo, onion, cilantro, and salsas. –Service– The waitresses are very friendly and attentive and will try their best to explain the items on the menu. The food comes out quickly which makes this a great spot for lunch. Food: 5 Value: 5 Service: 5 Overall: 5
