I give this 4 stars because generally, I only order the chicken chimichanga. It’s served with rice, queso, refried beans, and lettuce and I really do love it! I also love their margaritas! Every order comes with chips and chunky salsa that is just the right amount of spicy. This is a very popular Mexican restaurant but it is also very large and I have never had to wait more than just a couple minutes for a table(typically they can sit me immediately).

Don’t even know where to begin. We have eaten here for a few years on occasion. Tonight sealed the casket for us. First off, they said there would be a 10 – 15 wait. That was fine, if it were true. After about 35 minutes, we were called, but couldn’t sit yet because they were still cleaning the table. When we did sit diwn, it stunk bad. They are using filthy water to clean tables with! Our waiter came over and took our drink orders and we got them pretty quick. When our food arrived in a timely manner, my wife and step daughters food looked good, but my fajita pan was about ¼ filled with oil and the vegetables weren’t even hot or cooked. I did complain to a waiter, who then said that their cook had been talked to about this. The manager came over after awhile and said he would need to see for himself that there was a problem. They ended up bringing me a whole dinner replacement. No apology. As we continued to dine, a COCKROACH decided it was dinner time too. Before my stepdaughter killed it, I took a picture. When our waiter returned, I showed him the picture. This poor guy was so embarrassed. Not one visit from the manager. When we paid up front. I informed the girls about our experience. One of them even took a picture of my picture of the roach. After awhile the manager showed up only to want to see proof. Once again, no apology. So we paid full price for an extremely poor dinner. We still left about a 25% tip for our waiter. Although he shouldn’t have brought my food to me in such poor condition.

We stopped here on our way to Asheville. What a great Mexican restaurant! The service was quick and the food was great! I had the Guadalajara and my husband had a chicken enchilada. We both enjoyed our meals. I wish there was one where I live!

We stop here every year on our way home from vacation. In my opinion, Casa Fiesta is one if the better Mexican restaurants. Excellent food and friendly service.

Most of the dishes are quite tasty. The fajita Taco Salad is average as is the shrimp chimichanga. Most dishes are better than the average Mexican Restaurant and the prices are fairly reasonable. Portions are larger than most. The atmosphere is new and clean. Better than most. You will enjoy.

I had carry-out lunch from here today. It was pretty good and better than I expected. First of all, the location the map takes you to is wrong. You have to turn in by the Shell gas station and drive through their parking lot to get to Casa Fiesta. Once in their lot, if you are picking up carry out they have a special to-go and pickup door on the side of the building. I got lost going here as it is quite confusing since they don’t really have their own driveway entrance. I had the lunch special of the day, fajitas. I chose chicken. It was $ 6.99 and a big portion for the price. Especially considering they give you the whole plate of beans, rice, lettuce with sour cream, guacamole, and pico. I didn’t like the guacamole. It was more of a guacamole cream and not really guacamole. But the rest of the dish was good, I enjoyed it and they fajitas weren’t too greasy as they sometimes are at Mexican restaurants. I picked up lunch for 5 coworkers, and the total cost was $ 36. It was quite a lot of food for $ 36. They have a lot of things you can order a-la-cart. The tacos looked good.

Service is ok, drinks are very reasonably priced but the food could be better. I ordered the fajitas and they were incredibly greasy. Almost impossible to eat because of the greasiness, they were drenched in oil. The guacamole that came on the side was good though. Overall, nothing special and way too greasy.

Food was delicious. Service was a little slow but we had a group of about 15. I will definitely go back.

So I’m in Richmond for training and stop for dinner at this Mexican restaurant … The service is fantastic, the place is clean, they have a good selection of beers and the shrimp tacos… The shrimp tacos… One more time, the shrimp tacos are to die for. A load of shrimp with Mexican cold slaw… Unicorn tears, and rainbows… So darn good it makes me a little teary eyed…

Me gusta mucho la café fiesta! They have good service and my wife and I like to go there for drinks and chips and salsa! However I think some entrees are too expensive.

Not only is this the best Mexican food in Richmond, it is the best Mexican food around. I go to this restaurant all of the time and I never have a bad experience and the food is consistently delicious. Try the nachos fajita chimichanga because it is sooo good!

My go to Mexican restaurant in Richmond. The food is good and the beer is cheap. The service at times is poor but for the most part the servers there is good. Great place to take people for a birthday dinner.

My husband and I ate here last night and it was great! I had a 32 oz beer and he had a couple of margaritas, we couldn’t believe how low the prices were. The service was as good as anywhere I have ever been but the crowning glory was the salsa. You know, really, if the salsa isn’t good at a Mexican place, what’s the point? The salsa at this place was the second best salsa I have ever had in a restaurant. The next time we visit Richmond we’ll try to return to Casa Fiesta.

Unsophisticated, delicious Mexican. The service is generally very good, the chips and salsa fresh made, the entrees very tasty. This is a solid well run Mexican restaurant. A lot of bang for your buck. Only problem is… all the locals know how great this place is as well, and on the weekend you may have to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated.
