Cherry’s Nails Spa & Facial

I will never be back. I’ve never had my nails look this terrible. If you want coffin nails stay far away. They are just cut off on the ends and rounded. Coffin is suppose to be flat at the top not round. They have no idea what they are doing in there. I’m HIGHLY disappointed I didn’t even want to pay for the nails they were that bad.

When I stumbled on their Instagram, I was very intrigued. The new management, new spa chairs, the awesome nail art, and their many discounts/​deals all suckered me in. I came in this morning, and was the only person there besides the nail technician which didn’t really bother me because that means she wouldn’t feel rushed to finish up my pedicure. The color selection is very limited, and also contained a lot of smaller branded polishes which was disappointing. I got the $ 20 package for my pedicure which included all the amenities of the basic package, as well as a sugar scrub and a foot mask. The lady that worked on me was kind, although we didn’t talk very much. One thing I noticed right off the bat was how unsanitary this place was. Nothing was in the little sanitary package, and after she was done using a tool on me, she just tossed it right back in the drawer. Another thing that REALLY bothered me was to remove my foot mask, she used a kitchen sponge to wipe off the remnants. I was disgusted because sponges are literally bacteria haven, and I was stupid enough to shave my legs before coming to the appointment. (If you don’t know what I’m referring to, you should Google it. It’ll change your world.)
During the middle of my pedicure, another lady who worked there came in and asked if I wanted to get a manicure as well. I obliged, seeing as it would be cheaper to get the package then get it separately done anyways. And from that point on, they started conversing in Vietnamese majority of the time. I knew they were talking about me (not sure good or bad) because the new lady would ask me questions about some topics the older lady and I discussed about earlier. The manicure wasn’t impressive. Neither was the experience. My cuticles are bad (which is the main reason why I come get my nails done in the first place) and she didn’t even get most of it taken care of, not to mention she also painted OVER the cuticles and didn’t bother cleaning it up. The paint job is just bad in general because it was uneven and rough on a couple of nails. The polish didn’t even last 2 hours before it chipped on me FROM EATING POPEYES. If it can’t handle friend chicken, it definitely would not last a week. Who knows if I ingested that chunk of polish or not. But wait, here comes the BEST part. After the older lady was done with my toes, she began cleaning up and washing the tub WITH THE SAME SPONGE SHE WIPED MY LEGS WITH. Not only that, SHE WIPED THE FLOOR WITH IT TOO. Omg, that was the last straw for me. I’m sorry but I am not coming back. They also only gave me the 15% on my pedicure and not my manicure. They didn’t even give me the packaged deal for it, so essentially they were ripping me off because they think I don’t know what I’m doing and that I look 16. I’m 21 btw. Save your money and go elsewhere. If I end up contracting some bacterial infection, I’ll let you guys know.
