The only reason anyone frequents this location is because of convenience! The staff are rude and lazy! Not to mention it’s one of the most expensive stations in california! The other night after work I stopped to make my purchase, waited in line for like ten minutes and when I got to the register they put a closed sign in my face and said were shutting down! I mean i was the last customer! Wtf! This place needs new management! Thanks chevron for turning me to Valero!

The station is reasonably clean and easy to get in and out of. And there is an awesome taco truck adjacent. But the prices are typically 30 cents higher than Costco. And ten or 15 cents higher than some of the Chevron stations in Berkeley. It seems to me that being a mile from the refinery, they could charge less, as the transportation cost is low. So the high price is just another offense toward Richmond residents.

Pretty good Chevron Station, especially for filling up in the early morning. I prefer this one to the two stations close to Hilltop Mall, which I find more congested. 1. Very fast pump — it took noticeably less time for me to fill up my Camry. 2. At least before 7am there is a food truck parked in the lot, so more options for snacks and even breakfast. 3. Easy access to 580 in both directions. It’s also easy to get in and out if the station. Can be tricky when a train goes through, though. 4. Bathrooms! Separate men/women as separate building structures in the lot. When I arrived I noticed they were closed for cleaning.

This was from March and I never posted: I regularly get gas here. I just asked for cash back and was told that I could not have cash back unless I donated to St. Jude’s. While I commend raising money for a children’s hospital, you cannot refuse to allow customers to utilize normal, every day transactions because they refuse to donate to a cause.

It’s an ok gas station, the bare minimum basically. It usually doesn’t have too long of lines, but sometimes there is a slight 5 – 10 minute wait. There is no convenience store to walk into and stock up on refreshments, candy or energy drinks. There is however a small little stall that is encased by bullet proof security glass with 1 worker usually helping those with cash transactions. The products available in the little stall are minimal to say the least and I probably wouldnt stop here to use the bathroom. It’s probably one of the only gas stations in the immediate Point. Richmond area so if I’m running on empty and not near a Costco gas etc. I will stop here for just gas. The prices are no cheaper than the average gas station either. Weird since it is surrounded by so many oil/gas refineries.
