I have been a dedicated patient in this office for 12 years and I am finally leaving for another practice. This practice has changed hands quite a few times and each time, switching me to a new MD. Last summer, they made yet another switch — during which time they attempted to reach me to make an appointment. When I did not respond, they sent me a certified letter notifying me that they would discontinue treating me(and to find another MD). I was on vacation during this time and was unable to respond. Returning home to find that I no longer has an MD, I called and spoke to the office manager, who assured me(after multiple conversations) that they were sorry for the error. After it’s last switch, and a promise from the lead MD that I would not be mistreated or ignored, I decided to stay and see if the practice was going to continue to go down-hill in service. In short, it has. After multiple attempts to meet with my MD — not a nurse in the practice, and multiple attempts at making appointments(always a busy line), I am finally moving onto another practice. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Being in the medical industry, and a person who values a clean bill of health, I am moving to another practice who will not throw my chart by the wayside. It disappoints me that medical professionals treat a patient differently based on life choices. As I am a young, healthy female, and not pregnant, my chart is not placed as high of importance as someone who is with-child and it is a disappointment that due to the stage of life where I am at — and not at the point where I wish to concieve a child, that my health is considered«unimportant» in comparison with others. I am thankful to have found a better medical practice where I am just as important as those who are with-child.
