Consignment Connection seems to always be bustling with activity. The parking lot is consistently full, so you are lucky to get a spot! There is a pretty good mix of old and new, but there is no haggling since prices are set by consignors. This being the case, the consignors skew prices much higher than I am willing to pay at times, but you can definitely find fair prices throughout the store. I feel the store is set up in a way that is easy to peruse. There is a great selection of furniture all around, and not everything is old or vintage. Definitely check it out!

I’ve never consigned anything before, but I have learned from this experience. Make sure you take a picture of any item you plan to consign otherwise you will end up in the same position I was in. I brought a bag of sterling silver jewelry in Jan. Here it is March and my items weren’t out on display. At this point, I wanted my items back since I was told at the counter that they didn’t have $ for me. They couldn’t find my jewelry. I was absolutely discusted. They told me to make a list of all the items I had brought in, something they should have done when they initially received the items. They found the jewelry in a bag on top of a shelf they said after about 30 minutes. None of the items had been displayed after 3 months. You decide if you’re patient enough to deal with this. In my opinion my items looked better than anything I’d seen in there, I don’t understand why anyone in business wouldn’t want to move this. I went through boxes and bags of jewlery that weren’t even on display trying to help them find my stuff. If I didn’t have the space to display items, I wouldn’t accept any items until I moved what I had. I just don’t get it. I’m glad to have my stuff back I’m not ready to trust anyone else with it.

Consignment beware !!! I left a number of new and used items months later no payment… I don’t see my items in the shop… I basically gave them new items to sell with a hundred percent profit… see more negative reviews…

Consignment connection is a bustling second-hand store in Lakeside, focusing on homewares(Furniture, kitchen items, etc.). It’s parking lot is always full, and the inventory is constantly changing. They carry everything from 2 year old vases from Pottery Barn to antique light fixtures, and everything in between. All the items they sell are in good condition, but the pricing is not negotiable because it’s set by the consigner(they do a 60⁄40 split I believe). The store is set up like a house, with living room items in the living room, dining room sets and china in the dining room, kitchen items and appliances in the kitchen, books and jewelry in the study, and then several other rooms with miscellanous items. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they will let you put an item on hold for about a week… so if you see something you just have to have, make sure to put it on hold if you don’t buy it on the spot, otherwise it might be gone in a second! This is a pretty packed store, and you do have to dig around a little bit sometimes to find what you’re looking for. It’s a great place to browse if you realized you need a new butter dish/picture frame/end table etc., and you want something unique. I’ve bought a set of patio furniture from there, as well as countless lamps, vases, dining room table linens… you name it, you can usually find it at Consignment Connections!
