This place is good if you need a good fade cut and you want it in under 30mins… Buuut not for $ 25! Came in for a haircut after seeing that «Raul G.» (Below me) was charged $ 15 for a taper by Dex. I ended up getting cut by «Jay». He’s good but I’ll probably end up taking my business else where, where fades with no extras are less expensive.

Sooo my bf went here to get a haircut and he waited and waited then ask a guy if he can cut him and that guy said after he eat. So my bf waited for him to eat, watch tv, and chilling while my bf is still waiting. Then a guy came in and sat on his chair and he began cuttin him !! Wtf. He waited there for more than an hour and left !! These barbers need to acknowledge their customers. Rude and never coming here again.

I got a cut from a gentleman by the name of Dex and he sure did make me feel like there was much attention put forward to my haircut. He made sure the hairs were in place before he trimmed them, the razor line was given to me without me asking for it and I believe he didn’t charge extra for it (maybe he did). I got a taper and a line that I was charged $ 15 for –acceptable.
The ambience is the same as any other shop besides that these guys are a little more funny. The short drive was worth it and I will be back.

So me and my man were in the area and he really needed a haircut. I wasn’t gunna take him so some supercuts so I decided to look on Unilocal (cuz Unilocal doesn’t lie). He came out lookin like a new man. He looks too good.
There is either a movie, or sports on. Super laid back, Very kid friendly, super clean hair cuts. I’m impressed.

Went here for the first time today. Excellent cut. He knows how to use a razor. Which is a plus for me. Personable and friendly service from the owner. Engaging conversation. Clean comfortable shop. I felt like he appreciated my business. I’ve been to several places and have been looking for a long time. I think D Boy has a new customer.

I’ve been going to D-Boys for about ten years. Coming from North Carolina, I didn’t feel many people could cut out here in the Bay, but D-Boys exceeded my expectations. And the best thing about it, is you can set an appointment and get in and out quickly. All the barbers can cut, but I stay loyal to D-boy unless he‘s gone out of town.

D-BOY is by far the best barber I have been to. It’s a man’s man barbershop. Always good conversations, music, and sports. After every cut I feel like new money. I highly recommend this shop if you want a crisp and clean cut.

— a straight laced men’s barbershop. (to get a clue, watch «the barbershop») so that means plenty of jokes, talking plenty of junk, etc.
— all the barbers are on point with the clippers. Tell them what you need or want and they will get you there.
— I personally always run with jay (Jevon) I have known him since 4 so it would be kinda odd letting the other barbers cut me (kinda like that seinfeld episode, when Jerry wanted to change barbers, but his main barber was adamant about loyalty)
Other than that, make a RSVP ahead of time…

I haven’t seen the owner Danny since high school in the 80’s. I didn’t see him today either, but no mind. My boyfriend is mixed-race and has great hair but it’s not easy to deal with. D-Boy’s asked all the right questions and used all the right products. a real family, old school barber shop atmosphere at the same time professional and customer service oriented. we will go back.
