First the positive: Deb would be a decent place to go if you were invited to a wedding or a dance last-minute and wanted a cheap formal-ish dress without having to drive to Indianapolis or Cincinnati. However, finding something at Deb that actually hangs properly and fits where it’s supposed to would be a miracle. I bought a skirt here for a Halloween costume… I think I could have made a better garment(and I can’t sew anything more complicated than buttons). The gigantic elastic band cut into my stomach, the skirt bulged around my hips and the hem stuck out in odd places. I’m a small person, so it’s not like I bought a size too small and expected it to work miracles. I took it back the next day and got something from Hot Topic’s clearance rack that worked much better and cost about the same. Also, the help here is AWFUL. They must hire from the same pool as Buffalo Wild Wings(see my review). They stand around talking behind the counter and when you come up to the counter, they sort of glance at you and go back to their conversation, choosing to ring you out only when they can find a good stopping point. And it’s not just the teeny-boppers that have this attitude — the manager is right in the middle of it. I’m not expecting Saks Fifth Avenue-type service here, but a «hi, did you find everything okay» would be more than adequate. Deb, you kind of suck.
