Dick’s Sporting Goods is where I usually come for my sports equipment .Dick’s Sporting Goods has a good selection of sports equipment and apparel for all sports. Dick’s has some college fan apparel (mainly local colleges like Va Tech, UVA, and VCU).Dick’s also keeps up with the latest trends in sports. The men’s Northface section is limited at this location. The store is spacious. Dick’s has two floors. There’s a cool rock climbing wall inside the store. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Dick’s Sporting Goods have a laid back family atmosphere. If you are looking for sports equipment, Dick’s Sporting Goods is a good choice.

This is where we go to find soccer stuff for my nephew, Joe… he’s on his high school team and in a recreational league so he’s been glued to the World Cup games this past week.
I don’t know what’s up with the climbing wall, unless it may be an insurance issue… I would think they would have big liability problems if it weren’t staffed and monitored 24/​7, especially since a lot of parents let their kids run wild in public these days.
They have pretty much anything you could ever want for any sport, plus a big selection of team gear for fans. It helps to know what you’re looking for and stay focused on the goal, and it’s a madhouse during Christmas so shop as early as you can.
