Eck Enterprises

I have rented from many rental companies and this is certainly not the worst, but not the best either. I love the location and the maintenance team and have found reaching the property team to be fairly easy. Most of my issues have been addressed the same day. However I am having an issue with the groundskeeping work as I work from home, sometimes until the very early morning. I have spoken to the staff about it but they stated their lawn care contract does not dictate a time so there is no way to have the work done in the afternoon. I know the work has to be done and it will be loud because the walls are thin but the 8:30am timing and frequency is very inconvenient. This would be a dealbreaker for some.
If the apartment could change the groundwork schedule I would give this company 4 stars, maybe 5. It is otherwise a great company to rent from.

For the most part I have had no issues with the support I’ve gotten from the maintenance team, otherwise this rental company would earn 1 star. I am woken at least 3 times a week before 9am, every single week since I moved here, either by someone on the maintenance team or the lawn group. Given there is noise outside until 3am sometimes, it is incredibly frustrating to be woken at 7am by someone slamming trash cans against the building or using a leafblower in the alley beneath my window (which echoes.) I see no reason there needs to be leaf blowing multiple times in the week; it’s not even Fall. I hope Eck eventually comes to understand how thin our walls are and moves any apartment maintenance until later in the day, but from what other tenants have told me that is not likely.

My company rented a property on Main street from Eck for 3 yrs. The maintenance guys were responsive and great when needed a few times. The properties are well maintained and the mgt team was great! These locations are convenient to everything cool in the fan! They also helped with finding us a fee subletter leads!

We love renting from Eck. Everyone we’ve worked with on the staff, from management to repairmen, have been just wonderful — friendly and responsive. Eck seems to believe in fostering community and encourages the businesses and individuals who rent from them to get to know each other, which we’ve really enjoyed. They really care about keeping their properties in great shape, unlike so many landlords in the area. I highly recommend them for either business or personal rentals.
