I’m new to the area and was in the mood for some Mexican food. It’s my first time trying this place. The food was good however the customer service sucked. The cashier was texting and seemed upset that she had to take an order. I work in customer service and when you find out the customer hasn’t been there you always make sure they understand the menu and give great customer service so they come back this wasn’t the case. Her text was more important

Great food. Quick friendly service and super convenient. I agree that the hot sauce isn’t really hot. And the chips are meh. Burritos are good. I love that they use cilantro. It tastes fresh and yummy.

A very good carne asada regular burrito for $ 6 out the door. Maybe a little overpriced but good sized and very tasty. Fast friendly service. Will repeat.

I stopped at the gas station to fuel up my car. I found out that El Burrito Loco existed after going in to pay and decided to to fuel up myself as well with some tacos. I can’t say how surprised I was at the tastiness that ensued. I ended up getting another round of tacos immediately after destroying my first set. The best part is that I didn’t even come close to breaking the bank on this terrific meal with 3 small tacos for $ 3.99. This place is like a taco truck without the truck! Customer service has been polite and friendly, with my tacos always coming out no more the 5 minutes after I order. A small complaint I do have is that the salsa varies in spiciness from visit to visit with the«hot» never being really that hot. The only other thing that I might say is the tortilla chips have been of questionable quality sometimes too. Outside of those 2 things I can’t recommend this place enough for a quick meal and cheap meal.

Mexican food inside a gas station seems like it wouldn’t be great. My curiosity got the best of me and I gave this place a shot. I was not disappointed. Friendly staff. Bomb food. Clean. Nothing bad here. Five stars cuz four stars is for pretentious delusional Bay Area haters looking for unachievable perfection.

I was shocked at how much I loved my carne asada burrito. Because, well, it was from a gas station. The biggest problem I have with ordering Mexican food to go is that a lot of times you end up with grease bombs and this is just super clean, fresh food. I had a simple carne asada burrito with rice, pinto beans, cilantro & onion, and red salsa on the side, and it was perfect. SO ordered an al pastor burrito and added sour cream and guac. The al pastor was moist and was nicely spiced, but I think I still give the edge to La Bamba. He totally enjoyed it though. GREAT salsas. This’ll be part of the regular rotation now.

The food here is great! I love getting the steak tacos and the green salsa is bomb. You also can get chips with anything that you order. The service is great and fast. I really like how you can stop to get gas and get good food other than regular gas station foods. I will be back again to get more tacos and to try more things.

The SLOWEST service. A burrito should not take 20 minutes! I know I should have gone to a taco truck. They have it down! Now I know.

The only gas station burrito I crave! I love this little taqueria! It’s right inside the gas station. I typically don’t like chevron bc the gas is so expensive but if I’m hungry and craving one of these in the morning I’ll go here and fill up my tank! The lady who works here is so nice and whips up the food in a flash. I’ve had the bacon bb, sausage bb and potato bb and they’re delightful. The perfect size and the salsa is nice and spicy. The prices is also good, the burrito is about $ 5. If you’re feening a breakfast burrito give this place a try!

I’ve been coming to this chevron for years. The Mexican food was ok, good when starving and in a bind. I don’t know what they’ve changed but the carnitas(pork) are juicy and flavorful unlike the dry chewy flavorless pork it use to be; the carne asada(steak) isn’t tough and dry anymore, it’s full of flavor and easy to eat. I got two regular tacos and the tortilla is slightly crispy and soft at the same time. I had two of the most delicious tacos I’ve had in a long time. Whatever you guys are doing, KEEPITUP! The service is always great, the staff is always kind, professional and courteous. Plus this chevron gives the best car washes!

Ok, the only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because they don’t open early enough. How can you serve breakfast burritos so close to lunch? Don’t get me wrong, the breakfast burritos are frickin great! I get to work early… I’m talkin around 7am. I’m hungry and have to wait until like 10:00am to eat breakfast. Great Burritos! Hours suck though. I would complain about them not being open on Sundays but… Well, I get it. We’re closed on Sundays too. LOL! It’s a gas station, don’t expect 5 star service, don’t expect early morning breakfasts because they aren’t available there. Again, go there for the food. it’s tasty. Hours are funky though.

At work we pull up to get breakfast burritos. 9:40, there sign is out front saying they are open, there open sign is on. When we ask for our burrito she says they aren’t open yet. We point out all her signs are up and their hours say they opened a while ago and she just shrugs. Not the first time this has happened. There are better places with much better service located really close. I would give zero stars but Unilocal has a one star minimum.

My current favorite for fresh, tasty burritos at dinner time. Gas station setting is a bit off– putting, but it’s a little gem of a place.

I’ve gone to eat quick lunches here a few times… The food is good enough. The lady who cooks and prepares the food is nice and gets orders ready fairly quickly, but some of the other peeps there need a lesson in customer service 101. Not the most friendliest bunch. Oh well, I don’t really expect top-notch service at gas station joints anyway. :)

The freshest, most delicious, authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten. This restaurant caters for all of our department parties and we love it. His guacamole and pico de gallo is delicious and very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.
