I honestly wish I didn’t have to give any stars because I was extremely disappointed. I’ve been patronizing Elite Cleaners for a little over a year because it was convenient and close to my place of work. I’m easy to please so long as you’re fair, and I’ve never had problems prior to these with this or any cleaners. The first hiccup occurred when I retrieved my clothes back with one of my designer shirts completely ruined. The establishment owner proceeded to tell me it was like that when I brought it in and then heckled me about the cleaning service«only costing $ 2.00» .as if that negates the fact that she has destroyed an expensive shirt. So I payed for the clothes extremely disappointed that a once reliable spot made an error and could not even acknowledge the error they made. Thinking that this was a one time mishap, I gave Elite a chance to reconcile with another batch of clothes a month or so later, however this time they LOST a designer long sleeve shirt. When I arrived, the establishment owner had drafted a new receipt, claiming that she added an additional golf shirt by accident and then told me that I only had 16 items instead of the 17 I’m certain I dropped off. I questioned her about why I wasn’t notified about the error at the time it occurred and she told me it was because I was a regular and she didn’t think she needed to. Okay? I even went home from the cleaners to check my home with my significant other to make sure there wasn’t an error on our part. No shirt. As me and my significant other we’re looking for the shirt she noticed that the amount on the receipt was wrong too. She pointed out that the 10% discount the merchant was suppose to be giving me for having a preferred employer wasn’t ten percent. Marked as ten percent but the number isn’t 10% of the subtotal. I started looking at my old receipts as well to compare and noticed that sometimes she completely omitted it. That made me feel as though maybe the cleaners I was choosing wasn’t as honest as I initially thought. Upon coming back to the store we calmly assured the manager that we didn’t have the shirt and that something needed to be done to reconcile this. After her explaining why she changed the receipt without letting us know a few more times she finally agreed to give us reimbursement for the shirt and told us never to come back again. Wow. Not that we were planning to but you truly show your lack of work ethic when you tell a customer never to come back after they discover a mistake has been made. To make matters worse, another manager calls me shortly after and I’m thinking it’s to apologize, on the contrary, it’s to tell me that the merchant who drafted the check had more integrity than I and that if I found the shirt I should contact them. I’m truly blown away at this point that a cleaners could lose my things and yet somehow I’m dishonest and I should be reaching out to an establishment owner who insulted me and banned me after they damaged and lost my clothes. I hope you guys figure out that this isn’t how business works. Understand that your patrons realize your service is of minimal expense, however, they still expect commendable service and respect from you. Extremely disappointed. It would be in your(anyone considering this location) best interest to patronize another establishment.

I was looking for a cleaners close by my apartment and came across Elite Cleaners. Elite Cleaners is reasonably priced for dress shirts($ 1.80).Pants cost more to be dry cleaned. I got 8 dress shirts dry cleaned on my first visit. I was pleased with the results. The shirts took a couple of days to be cleaned. You pay once your clothes are ready for pickup. The employees are friendly. The parking can be a hassle. Elite Cleaners is located in the heart of Downtown Richmond(work district). If you’re looking for dry cleaning in Downtown Richmond, Elite Cleaners is a good choice. I give Elite Cleaners a 4.5 rating.
