I’ve decided to update my review for a variety of reasons but the most important one has to do with asking yourself a question that all Unilocalers should ask about their reviews. Is it possible that if an experience at a business did not go how you thought it should was there any possible way you contributed to the situation? After having several loyal customers and the owner reach out discuss the situation we realized the issue with our visit was not in fact an issue on their part. We called; we asked about the mantel and got the pricing which was quoted at a price that represented 50% off the sticker price. Well when we got there and saw the sticker it did not reflect the 50% off. Instead of asking about it because yes the store was a bit busy and probably because the drive to Richmond was longer than anticipated, the store not what we were expecting we formed a conclusion in our mind that the store misrepresented the price of the mantle. Looking back I realize now it was a misunderstanding that could have been resolved if we had simply taken our time and asked the owner. In fact we’ve learned the mantel is still there and still 50% off the sticker price… lesson learned.
